I've been using this plugin on a bunch of my websites and it has helped me a lot to streamline my content for SEO. I am on free versions on all the websites but am considering upgrading one to premium to see if I can get something better there.
I have been using Yoast SEO for quite a while on WordPress sites. It is very beginner friendly and the on page guidance helps structure content properly, especially for readability and basic optimization. For simple websites or blogs it covers the essentials without much setup.However, the free version feels a bit limited compared to other SEO plugins now. Some features that have become quite standard, like redirection management, are locked behind the paid version. That means you still need another plugin just to handle URL changes, which complicates maintenance.
This app is cluttered and impossible to understand. The free version is a bunch of text and buttons with no intelligent design that guides the user through the process, is an overwhelm of seemingly useless information and appears to be an ad for the premium version, which I assume people purchase because the free version is unusable. The icon, which ALWAYS shows a notification, does not go to a notification screen when you click on it. Another cluttered, useless, poorly designed app full of ads.
