Pros: the customer service is helpful and the products are genuine.Cons: returning an item is not a simple a process. The return form is hard to find on their site. Purchasing Zen Guarantee is not worth it as it only lets you send back items for a prolonged time; it doesn't offer free postage on returns.- Edited my harsh criticism from one star to three, after customer service guided me with the return process.

Overall the site is good, but most annoying is them trying to sell you “Zen” Having paid for my items, and the extra for next day shipping, I feel that asking for more money for a guarantee, is not good...one would expect the purchase to be guaranteed, there should be no problems if items are damaged or the parcel is not delivered on time, it should not be necessary to pay for this. Apart from that niggle, it’s a good company, Stocks pretty much everything you want or need and pricing is fairly competitive

I bought a Hamster cage from the U.K. version of this website. The images online of the cage shown were only grey which is the cage I wanted. I received the box in perfect condition so expected it to be in perfect condition. The cage was blue so I didn’t take it out the box. I emailed them to let them know I wanted the grey cage and it was the wrong colour. They told me it was subject to availability. There were no other images to show alternative colour options. I explained I couldn’t return it as I don’t drive. They said that no one could collect it. They expected me to pay to return the item back to France when I am already out of pocket. When I took the cage out of the box it’s scratched in most places. It’s scuffed on both sides and there is a chip which over time I don’t know if that could get worse. How can anyone put a pet in a chipped cage. How can they get away with selling unsafe products? As I said there were no damages to the box, it had bubble wrap and paper inside. There is no way this damage was done in transit. They have deliberately posted the cage in this condition. It cost me £70 and I couldn’t even re sell it now. I sent them photos and they refused to refund me. They wanted to give me £5 off my next order. Are they serious??? I’ve been given a £5 voucher to buy from them again after terrible customer service. Who would seriously order anything else from a company that has no value for its customers, just trying to get money from them and selling them bad quality products. If this was the U.K. after seeing the damage they would refund or replace the item straight away. They told me because I didn’t tell them in my first email about the damage I cannot have a refund. This is an absolute scam. If anyone is considering buying from this site please save your money. I’ve now lost £70 and have a massive damaged hamster cage that no one would buy. They cannot get away with this, taking people’s money and the customer doesn’t get the item they rightfully paid for. I will be making people aware of this company so that this doesn’t happen to anyone I know of. I will not let this drop I will constantly keep making people aware of this company as I’ve lost out and been conned out of £70.
Delivery very slow, took six days to arrive, second time this has happened, Zoomalia claimed it was with the couriers, couriers claimed they had not yet received it! Item description inaccurate, gave wrong measurements on their website, but the company blamed me for not cross referencing???Summary, poor dispatch times and ignorant, aggressive customer services, as pointed out in previous reviews.
