Review Time
My first order with 123, and my last. I ordered a printer on 7/1/26. The printer was out of stock, but not indicated on their website, it was then delivered with the wrong plug, and when the correct plug was dispatched, it was to the wrong address in Northern Ireland! I live in Wicklow. A total of 3 weeks was wasted. During set up of the printer, the option to choose Ireland wasn't on the list of 'countries/regions' in the options menu, presumably because the printer was destined for consumers in all EU countries (bar Ireland and the UK (English speaking)), but got around that. Then I couldn't register the printer; the serial number triggered an ‘error’ response on Brother's portal but 123ink assure me the warranty is covered by them. Great, but couldn't they have informed me of that? I can only commend 123ink for their customer service. The staff did their best to resolve the issues in a timely way, but the 'weak links' in the chain need to get their ‘act’ together. Got a bag of Haribo 'star mix' for all my troubles; thank you. A box of Panadol would have been better.
*Update*Order: 1866644 I finally received my order 9 days after ordering but they sent me the wrong product. I purchased boxes and the measurements of the boxes I received are a complete different size than advertised. I have been in contact with them but it is annoying as my order was already delayed. Their website claims “order before 6:15pm, we’ll ship today”. Funny though. I placed my order on Tuesday the 27th of January and 8 days later, February 4th, my order still hasn’t dispatched! I don’t know why they bother claiming they’ll ship same day if they don’t have the capacity. This is my second order and I had issues regarding they’ll ship same first order placed too. I don’t want to hurt an Irish business but I really do find it annoying that they make claims and completely fail to achieve those claims. I do have to say, their customer service has improved but I’m just really disappointed my order is taking so long to even dispatch.
I ordered some equipment. They didn't have it in stock. That happens. They offered to either put it on back order or refund my money. I opted for a refund which they processed quickly. So even though they failed they did what good customer service required. When you fail you respond suitably.
I had a great experience with 123 Ink. The printer I ordered was out of stock on the day of purchase, but the sales team contacted me immediately and kept me informed every step of the way. They provided regular updates, were very professional, and made the whole process stress-free. I’ve now received the printer and I’m very happy with both the product and the excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend 123 Ink and will use them again.
