I had a great experience with Aire Serv technician Thomas. He was both professional and personable, making the whole process smooth. He took the time to answer all my questions about our heating and cooling system, which I really appreciated. It’s always nice to have someone knowledgeable and approachable working on your home!
I believe AirServe is using their Advantage Maintenace Plan to fabricated unneeded repair and upgrade. I had some warranty work done back on Feb 2025 and Airserve recommended to me $5000 unneeded services. I did purchased the Coil Sterlizer and High Performance Filter System because I wanted it, but did not needed it. Today (11 August 2025) one of my twice a year Service maintenance was performed and Airserve again recommended to me over $4000 worth of unneeded services even there was nothing wrong with my System and it was working fine. At this rate it would be cheaper to by a new system (from someone else) than to pay for all the unneeded services Airserve keep recommending during their Service Maintenance visits. By the way when, I purchase the High Performance Filter I was told I will receive new filters free of Charge during my twice a year Service Maintenance. That turn out to be a LIE!!!
I used Airserve before in a different home, I had problem with the service then. I was getting a new unit and the guys who were putting the unit never showed,or so I thought. I call to find out where they are since I have to take time off of work to wait around. We'll, they saw a town truck in front of my house and instead of calling they just left. Leaving me to chase them down to get them to come back that day not reschedule like Airserve wanted. Now on to the new house, try try again I hoping that maybe it was a one time issue. NOPE!!! I have them come to look at the houses unit. Well I get call about how the unit is on terrible shape. I can "fix" it for $800 or replace it for like $6,000. I ask them to please wait and trust that they will send me quotes. Wrong again the service guy goes behind my back scares my elder mother into thinking that the unit needs to be fixed ASAP. So they STEAL $800, from my mother. I look up what they did and talk to my friend who does HVAC the parts he replaced were $50 for both. How do we get $800. Also, Im the home owners if I tell you NOT to do something you dont prey on the elder to rob them of their money. I call to talk to someone, I miss the call because Im working, try to return the call and NEVER heard back. Very upset, I also asked to cancel my membership because thats BS supposed to get discount on service, yeah they dont discount anything. They still taking the monthly fee out, this company just loves to rob people.
This company does not do conscientious work. Chris seems to be more concerned with getting to his next call than spending the appropriate time to solve issues. Their work is sloppy because they don't re- tape things they dismantle and leave air flow issues or diagnosis beyond the 20 minutes they want to spend in your home. They put dye in the system and then won't leak test. They don't ensure things are properly working. According to them everything is normal when inform them of issues like your a/c running without shutting off for more than 2 hours. All they worry about is taking pictures and videos to cya. They don't follow through and complete diagnosis and rush through hoping the problem will go away. And when the issues gets worse or they cause more problems they deflect and without looking at the issue blame it on something else. Diagnosing via text is a thing now I guess. Left me with a mess over the weekend and did not respond. 27 days later and pleading for them to do the job right and my unit is still broken. Now I have to pay someone else to fix it. this is the clw/largo company run by Wes
They are very very expensive and scammers to sell unwanted products. I had some wiring issue with my thermnostat and instead of fixing the issue, the technitian keep complaining about the wiring and asked me to buy a new thermostat for $600. I asked him leave and paid unnecessarily for their visit $100.
Shane the salesman was nice in beginning. But after we had to cancel due to a family emergency he became rude over text messages with my wife. He began claiming he got us the loan we needed which he didn't because he didn't use his income or sign for the loan. He gave us a website to apply for the loan, that's it. They are over charging people for work and out of two technicians they both knew we were replacing our A/C unit. The first technician talked us into buying something that could have waited until after we got the new unit so it'd be less money so we wouldn't have had to buy the same product for more money. I highly recommend NOT using this company!
Terrance, the owner, came out to give me a quote on a repair. After he came out and looked over my system, he gave me a verbal quote. I asked him to back it up with a hard copy or an email. That was two months ago and call after call, excuse after excuse, for some reason would not give me that hard copy quote. Now I'm reading previous reviews and see that he is not living up to consumer standards. And as a result, I am not going to use him. "Buyer beware!"
Technician Jack Armstrong diagnosed the problem and explained it so even I could understand. Gave me the whole cost breakdown before any work done. Fixed it. Everything works fine now. Couldn't be more pleased. I have used Aire Serv for years in Killeen. They always do a great job. Super pleased with all the different techs that have helped us over the years. Thanks Aire Serv
