Air Serv recently came out to diagnose a problem in two of our lodges and told us we needed a new air conditioning unit in both locations. We replaced a large AC unit at one location and found out the filter had not been replaced for a long time, even though we’ve been paying for yearly annual maintenances. So for the other location we called another company that came to look at it and said we didn’t need a new unit we just needed a new part and it was only $600. They replaced it and it’s working fine. So if Air Serve says you need a new AC unit, you should get another opinion. And if Air Serv does regular maintenance, you need to make sure they actually replace the filter.
Anytime we deal with home repair, sleeping nights is our first consideration. Our unit was old and going out, bottom line, and along the road to a new unit we dealt with six individuals, all of whom were knowledgeable and hard-working, all of whom were courteous, besides being in themselves engaging personalities. "Neighborly" is the word on Aireserv's website, and if anything it's an understatement. They gave full and clear explanations of every why and wherefore in our repairs: Danielle, Tim, Matt, Jake, Austin, Brycen. (Though all of these people were impressive in their own way, Tim took the cake--he diagnosed our problem in something under five seconds.) Matt (who should write a book about his life) stressed that the owner of Aireserv is adamant: his employees will neither perform nor recommend unnecessary repairs. We eventually purchased a new unit to replace the dinosaur we owned, receiving in the process full credit for recent repairs, so that we didn't have to eat any of the costs that got us to that point. This company is beyond fair--these people are honorable. From here on in, this is our go-to HVAC company for any service or repair.
Aire Serv technician Tyler Tompson came to do a tune up on our HVAC system with a smile on his face. He went through the normal process of checking the system then flushed the drain line and cleaned the coils. Throughout the process he explained that it was important the keep these areas clean. Tyler was very meticulous and seemed to really enjoy his job. I am glad he is on your team!
Steven Drake did a great job doing a tune up on our equipment. Love AirServ professional service people. Steven cleaned out our air conditioning unit that we thought was clean. He also checked our UV air purification system. It’s made such a difference in our air quality.
Consumer beware of these scam artists! Had one of their technicians tell me that I have a slight Freon leak in my evaporator coil. I asked to see the detector results and he showed me some video that wasn’t my system. He then went into a hardcore sales pitch to replace my entire system using the guise that Freon 410A is being phased out this year with a different Freon and if I didn’t make a decision now, it was going to cost me more than $15,000. I then asked to see the results from my system pressure readings (he said that I was low on Freon) and also my start up capacitor needed replacement (which I had done last year), he never provided them nor the video of the boroscope of my evaporator! Going to file a complaint with the BBB, for deceptive business practices and fraud! Do not use this company! There are alot of complaints about them on multiple forums!
I had a great experience from Aire Serve. I live in St. Robert, Missouri. My AC went out last Thursday and a Tech, Josh came Friday and determined that the system was 37 years old. Dominic came and I ordered a new air handler and ac. Yesterday Devon and Joe came and put the new units in. They were very professional and explained everything to me and answered all and any questions I had. They were two of the nicest young men that I've met in a long time. I was very very satisfied with their work and I will refer Aire Serve to anyone. Thank You, Judy Keeth
Zach was my routine tech coming out to the house. The replacement is TJ. Zach was the best. TJ put down the quality work Zach had done. I notice those put downs were invalid. TJ was more interested in sales to add on features of 3,000 for my 4 year old unit rather than cleaning the unit. Zach always took time and care in quality cleaning of unit , leaving me with photos before and after as I pay a monthly fee for two cleanings a year. TJ left the property leaving the units pvc drain outlet upside down . This shows the need of thorough quality care that I am accustomed to with previous tech Zach. Not a good change for Aire serve or for the customer/community
