I have never been treated with such disregard and disrespect as I have the Allianz customer service team. I was spoken over consistently and when I asked would she tolerate being treated in that manner after her admission that the error was on the Allianz side I was told I was being disrespectful and that the call would be ended. When I tried to speak again I was again spoken over. This was after being passed on by two other members of the company. I am absolutely disgusted by the manner in which I was treated because of a company’s incompetence and poor service. Disgraceful behaviour that people should not be expected to tolerate.
We are with Allianz for 20+years. Received our renewal for the family car, 3 adult drivers and 2 young drivers( one with full licence and one with learner permit) €1083. Went online and got a slightly cheaper price so decided to call Allianz as I wanted to stay with them. We went through our level of cover with the call agent and while doing so, reduced the vehicle value by €15000, took one of the adult drivers off the policy altogether and decided to increase the excess from €300 to €500. These changes, which we made in an effort to get the premium down under the price offered by AA online, actually resulted in an increase of €200, bringing our new total to nearly €1300.The call agent could only apologise and could not really explain why the price actually increased, except to say the computer calculates the risk. Most disappointing of all was when I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was told she would log a complaint and I would be contacted in 3 to 5 working days, RIDICULOUS.
They will NOT automatically post out your certificate.Which leaves you at odds with the law.After you pay your premium, you now have to wait till you are notified that your insurance certificate is ready, log in again to their Allianz website and specifically request that they post you out your certificate.Who has a colour printer these days.Also, colours are very specific and must comply with the law.
