This year’s quote was 31% higher than last year. €300.25 to €392.24 the only change in my house was that my age is now 71. I connected Allianz, 10min later the price dropped to €340. When I went to the Rate section on the app I rated One Star. My comment was the same as above. When I submitted the rating my rating had changed to Four Stars. Please check on elder friends when their policies are due for renewal. I hope my post on facebook is read by a lot of people before it’s taken down. Please feel free to copy and paste on the site as people need to know. Allianz has a rating of 3.2 on Trustpilot and 4.0 on their facebook site
Had my cavapoo insured with allianz for a few years up until the other day and paid 300 euro per year but didnt use it much so I found a cheaper provider and I emailed Allianz to cancel as I could not ring that day as my baby was being fussy and my renewal was due the next day so I emailed to cancel it but they did not reply so I ended up ringing that afternoon when I got a minute and the man on the phone was ignorant and just said yes it's cancelled and that was that no thank you for your custom etc then I emailed in to say they could have told me it was cancelled via email and not ignore my emails and I got a cheeky reply that it was sent out via post. Bad customer service in my opinion and I think my car is insured with them so if I am and my renewal is up I will look elsewhere because of my bad experience I have made a formal complaint
Brutal. 2 hours trying to get through to report an incident, and finally some automated reponse said it would do a call back, 1 hour later still no call back. The online form doesn't work to report the incident either. Chatbox doesn't work either. They need new software or actual humans who can look after their customers when they are in need. The stress has been multiplied through this website and calls.
Is allianz closing down/going into liquidation??? They do not answer the phone, emails are rarely answered (3 in 3mths despite daily chasers) my car was damaged by an Allianz insured driver, the guy readily admitted liability, this happened on the 28th of December and aside from giving me a rental car Allianz have done 0 to assist me. Every day I email and call, calls are never answers, wait times are 2+ hours then they hang up, email response are rare, contradictory and confusing. After 10 weeks they finally agreed repairs with an Audi approved garage, they repairs carried out were absolutely appalling, my car is destroyed, the mechanic is blaming the allianz assessor and Allianz will not answer calls or emails.It is a never ending roundabout of incompetence and blatant disrespect for people. The sheer volume of negative reviews here, why are we all accepting this??? It has to be brought to public attention and the regulatory bodies need to investigate.
Phone support is simply unacceptable. Every time I call, I’m left waiting over an hour to speak to someone, and it often goes beyond 90 minutes. On top of that, they promise call-backs and updates but never follow through.In my claim, even after accepting the write-off offer and sending the requested documents, I’ve received no clear communication on the next steps and no payment timeline. They also only provided a courtesy car for one week, leaving me to cover extended rental costs.Overall, an extremely frustrating experience with poor communication and lack of transparency. I would not recommend.
