Absolutely dreadful service. I have called 8 times in the last 3 weeks trying to make a claim, keep getting told by their AI voice that call volumes are higher than normal (they aren't, this is normal it happens every time I call), I have selected the press 5 option for them to call me back EIGHT TIMES and nobody has called me back. This is not customer service. This is customer disdain. How can Ireland's largest insurer treat its customers like this?
Pet insurance was due for renewal with them,I rang and asked was that the best price as i have 3 policies with Allianz and was told if I brought my excess up they would apply a discount. Went online to Allianz own website and got it more than €50 cheaper with the same excess as a new customer!Rang back and was told they wouldn't match it and to cancel my existing policy and reset up as a new customer if I wished!WARNING:Zero loyalty,make sure to shop around especially as a new customer on their own site as its cheaper to leave and come back!

Keep telling me to update my credit card so they can take payment . I cancelled the auto renew and also confirmed that I wanted to cancel / NOT RENEW on the website portal . The cost to renew was prohibitive . £150+ more than two other quotes I received for precisely the same cover .
I wanted to speak to an agent about my renewal and after 5 minutes navigating your IVR I was told that there were no agents available and the call was terminated.Not good for a customer to be simply hung up on particularly after wasting time in the IVR.
