There is no place to email a query or no phone number to telephone an agent and if you do find a number to telephone, the call is taken by somebody who is very hard to understand as their English pronunciation is different to mine
I made only one claim from a visit to the vet that involved different tests to my cat. The renewal for the next year came up 200 Euros more expensive. Nobody is watching this insurance companies and stopping them from giving excuses to bump up prices such as "there were many claims last year"..or "accidents" in the case of car insurance. That is your business, businesses have losses(although not your case) and you cannot pass them on to the consumers. Customer pay for insurance, so they can use it without being punished.Update 10/11/2025: I have sent the email and called, only to find out that it remains the same. I even offered to renew it straight away if they keep the same premium or slightly different, but they are making big money with our four legged family members. A disgrace.
Allianz either have hidden or have no way to cancel policies on their website. They AI chatbot only can answer predefined questions. Their website is all phone numbers an no emails besides for complaints. Allianz is currently the most inconvenient insurance company I have a policy with in Ireland. I really don't want to waste time and money calling the help line.
I’ve been waiting over a month for updates on my insurance claim and have been promised multiple call-backs that never happened. Each time I call Allianz, I’m told someone will contact me but no one ever does. Now I’ve been told I can’t even speak to anyone on the claims team directly. The only option is to “wait for a call-back,” which could take another two weeks.This level of communication is completely unacceptable from a major insurer. Customers should not be left in the dark for weeks with no updates, no contact, and no accountability. I’ve made a formal complaint and will be escalating to the Financial Services and Pensions Ombudsman if this isn’t resolved promptly.
Awful company that uses AI to decide on the validity of insurance claims. I had a puppy that vomited from eating a children's toy. Typical puppy behaviour. The following year the dog got a stomach bug and had some vomiting. The Allianz AI decided that the vomiting was a preexisting condition from when he was a puppy and refused to settle the claim. A con job. Awful company
My wife had an incident in Ireland 🇮🇪 the staff were wonderful and helpful. I was shocked I figured they would try to wezzle out of their responsibilities,like most insurance companies.Absolutely not,they paid all the bills. Called to see if we needed anything else. Would definitely use them again.
