I have just done some insurance business with Allianz.ie (motor insurance) I hereby categorically state that I never dealt with a more pleasant, informative, patient and professional lady as I had the pleasure of dealing with today. She patiently helped me through the transaction without any fuss and stayed with me on the telephone until my business dealings were positively resolved and concluded. I’m so grateful 🙏. Highly recommended to family and friends. Service par excellence. Many thanks 🙏
I asked to speak to someone in your sales organisation and this is the reply I received, "Sorry, no matches for if I wanted to place €10 million worth of business who could I speak to?!!"Must be the worst Sales Orgaisation on the planet. 30 Years of driving. 24 January 2026 was the first time ever I needed a recovery for my car in Mahon Point Cork.I need my car to be Collected from Mahon Point and delivered to Milford Cork. 71 km distance. I contacted Allianz. From the second I made that call to Allianz I got nothing but lies after lies it truly was the most disgusting behaviour from a company Allianz would only take my car with recovery 20km I was told. Allianz gave me no information whatsoever to help me. Allianz sent out AAAA could not fix car.I had to ring a private recovery company to collect my car 300 euro cost to me.AA told me as apart of my insurance policy I could get a car for 2 days. Again I called Allianz. Asked am I covered to get a car for 2 days . Yes she said I'll sort that out. The rental company will ring you in 1 hour. I asked why was I not told that first time I called. No one called me back from Allianz or a Rental car Company never called me.Again I called Allianz told my story I was put on hold for 10 minutes and the phone was hung up on me. Again I called Allianz. Told my story. I was told because I paid for my own recovery. I would not get a car Rental because I did not use Allianz recovery of 20km service. But you never told me that from the very start. I'm a lover of movies 🎬. But to me it's a perfect example of Gordon Gekko . Greed is Good self interest .Allianz you had no interest in helping me today. What kind of a Company lies to a customer when in 30 years of taking there money you can't even tell the truth on the phone. Disgusting Behaviour. 7 Days on Allianz never replied to my complaint. What a company I had to make a Complaint to my insurance broker before Allianz would even reply to my complaint. Still waiting Allianz .
Paid premium online on a Friday evening for property where insurance was expiring on a Sunday - get an email on Monday to say cover being reviewed & stating property not actually covered by insurance until I receive a confirmation email. Happy to take premium without providing cover over weekend which is not advised until after you pay. Disingenuous to say the least. Would not use again
