First time flying with Animawings, and I truly believe it will be the last time flying with them. I went from Bucharest to Abu Dhabi, and indeed, there was bad weather in Bucharest, but all the other carriers were flying on time, and these guys had a 5 hr and 30 min delay. Ok, they blame it on the weather, but then why the sudden change of airplane from 1 big airplane to 2 smaller ones... then the captain said that there are technical dificulties hence the reason for changing airplanes... so still weather is the reason...?
in the airport, the gates were changing more often than the wind was changing directions. and for this long delay, no water or food was provided as per the law...
When calling the customer center there was a lady who was only saying that she was not given any other info than the fact that there is bad weather... in addition to that, even though selecting English in the main menue she was still talking in Romanian...
In the plane, after all those delays,s when having 100+ passengers onboard, they had only 80 sandwiches, and they didn't even think to give first time to the kids and then serve the adults, knowing that there are not enough...
I know they are a new company, but there are a lot of other companies that they can learn from, and it is not difficult to find leason Learned from others...
And exactly for the fact that they are a new company, you should have above expectation services to attract passengers, and they are not that cheap to be honest....
It was definitely my last time when flying with them.

I'm writing this review before I got on the plane, it was on sale there is a delay on boarding and when I came to ask for explanation for the reason to the delay the lady make a sour face and and said to me 'that's what it is' and when I ask why she can't give me a reason for the delay she said that I need to ask much polite, believe me I asked very very gentle, and then I look for reviews to write about this company and what I found lots of people that had the same experience like mine, we can come I don't think I recommend to anyone to fly with this company!.

Highly disappointing experience

I was not informed about my flight cancellation that occurred months prior, and I only learned of it the day before my flight after reaching out to customer service. The alternative flight they provided was not a regular booking; it was a 'standby' ticket, which I discovered only during check-in. Due to overbooking and my standby status, my flight was not assured. I found myself stranded at the airport and sought assistance from customer service, but they were completely unhelpful. Additionally, they allowed less baggage than what was indicated on my original ticket, and they refuse to acknowledge this. I had to pay an extra fee for the discrepancy, and a refund has not been issued. The representatives from customer service struggled with communication, requiring me to explain my situation multiple times at the airport. They also take a week to respond to emails without resolving any issues. I would never recommend this airline; they are utterly unreliable!

Awful experience

Awful experience, please don’t ever book a flight with this airline. I am still waiting in the airport for my flight, and it’s been over 5 hours.

The most disappointing airline experience - flight cancellation without notice!

Disappointing airline.

Disappointing airline. First and last time flying with them. There was a 1-hour delay from my departure city, and then a 2-hour delay on the return trip. Totally unreliable.

Delays and unnecessary service issues

The flight was delayed by about 2 hours, just enough to avoid compensation. The company's main site still showed the flight as 'on time.' No one communicated why the delay occurred. Checking other sources indicated no flights from this airline were active. They seem unable to coordinate their fleet properly. Last time they diverted to another city to pick up passengers. Please avoid this airline; it's not worth your time.

Great first experience with the airline

My first flight with this airline was from my departure city to my destination and back. Very nice flights, clean airplane, ample space, excellent pilots, and friendly staff. I highly recommend them. I was particularly impressed by the way one staff member provided safety instructions—clear and pleasant.
