Appalling service

Appalling service, Three phone calls to customer services to correct an incomplete address put on the parcel & waybill by the consignor. Two failed to deliver days. A charge of 4.05 to speak to customer service. Disgusting.

Shocking service

Have been waiting for a delivery since 12th December, tracking stated the 12th as first delivery then moved to 15th December, now tracking states on its way!Have tried to contact customer services eventually got through, girl sounded stressed and unable to give any updates eventually blaming collapse of fastway for the delays, but that also happened over a month ago, and that being the case why knowing there would be a bigger workload Have you not put contingencies in place and employed extra staff for the festive period, Christmas is an annual event!I have been told that someone will contact me within 24hrs I'm not holding my breath, plus to date 18th December I've been told that once my parcel eventually arrives in Ireland it will take upto another 7 days to be delivered so not before the 25th! And the recipient has a flight booked home on the 27th December! Thanks GLS.

WARNING TO EVERYONE

WARNING TO EVERYONEVELOBET is a rogue disgusting illegal casino, pay very close attention to anyone who has anything positive to say about this rogue firm , they are a REP and an affiliate, nothing more.1) They accept self-excluded members , i.e people registered on GAMBLOCK/GAMBAN. They prey on gambling addicts and vulnerable people2) The games on their site is RIGGED to the max, i've had £50k+ losses over a year without a single win, only the initial small win after signup. The RTP is non-existent thereafter and the worst ever experienced compared to many other casinos. They initially let you win a small amount and payout fast to entice you to come back and oh boy, you will wish you never came back, they will rinse you dry to the last cent and spit you out.3) They money launder via third party "businesses" / organisations, if you deposit you will soon realise your paying a vast array of EU based businesses instead of the casino,4) They charge you ridiclouse amount of fees on withdraw and then blame it on fees outside their control.5) If you deposit by card from any country outside of the EU and in any currency other than EURO currency, you will be hit with massive currency conversion fees, something they dont disclose or tell you about on their scam site.6) I closed my account PERMANENTLY months ago only for them to allow me to reopen it on demand to lose thousands more.7) Velobet continued to allow me to play and withdraw after they requested bank statements for KYC measures but I totally rejected and did not provide a single document and yet Velobet continued to let me play.I have all the emails with Mary Cole the VIP Manager.I have initiated legal action for all losses occurred following them re-opening my account even when i requested PERMANENT closure due to gambling addiction.LET THIS BE A WARNING TO OTHERS FROM A REAL PUNTER WHO FELL INTO THIS CASINO'S TRICKS, IF YOU PLAY HERE, YOUR LIFE WILL BE DESTROYED, 100% GAURENTEED. Don't listen to any positive reviews, they are from predatory reps/affiliates associated with the casino.---------------------------------------------------IN REPLY TO THE FILFTHY LYING VELOBET BELOW:YOU WILL BE HELD TO ACCOUNT, YOU ASKED FOR KYC AND I UTTERLY REFUSED AND YOUR THUG VIP MANAGER ALLOWED ME TO CONTINUE AND PLAY , THIS IS 100% IRREFUTABLE , I HAVE ALL THE EMAILS WITH THE VIP MANAGER AND THE EMAILS FROM KYC REQUESTING THE INFO TO WHICH IT WAS NEVER PROVIDED, IF YOUR RIGHT AM SURE YOU WILL HAVE THE EVIDENCE TO PROVIDE THAT I PROVIDED WHAT WAS REQUESTED RIGHT?? COME ON PROVE IT! YOU CANT CAUSE YOU ARE FILFTHY LIERS.LEGAL ACTION IS HEADING YOUR WAY, JUST WAIT AND SEE.

GLS - worst courier/ customer service ever

What an absolute nightmare this company is. They do not answer emails and most definitely not phone calls. A handful of times that I had the misfortune of my parcels being connected from the UK through them - it’s the same. It’s been over a week that my parcel arrived in Ireland. I’ve wasted so much of my time trying to find out when it will be delivered. There is no regard or respect for their customer.

If I could give zero I would

If I could give zero I would. Parcel was out for delivery (after having the parcel for 2 weeks) and then “delivered”. My partner was home all day and said absolutely nobody delivered anything. There is a section which says “signature” which I was intrigued to see who signed, however, that says “mailbox” - we don’t have a mailbox. It was a Christmas present which was placed with plenty of time (5th of December) that is now nowhere. None of the phone lines are taking calls because they have a “high volume” of callers so it just tells you to call back later and cuts out. I have called all 3 numbers in Ireland countless times over the last week and this keeps happening. I have sent an email over a week ago which it suggests to do on these calls also, no body has responded. What a useless, useless company.

Failed pickup and nonexistent customer support

They were scheduled to collect the parcel on a specific day, but they never arrived. There was no communication from them. The phone system is entirely automated, leaving no option to speak with a representative to address the issue. I ended up taking the parcel to a drop-off center. It's been four days, and it still shows as being there. I'm at a loss for what to do next. I sent a message through their email system but received no acknowledgment. I was compelled to use this service as it was the only option available. I would strongly advise against using this company. Completely ineffective. Thank you for your response. You mentioned, "I can only suggest you contact the support team for further assistance." This perfectly illustrates the main issue: the total breakdown of accessible customer service. As I explained in my initial complaint, I have already tried to reach out via email (with no acknowledgment) and through the phone line (which does not connect to a human agent). Therefore, your suggestion leads me to a channel that does not exist for a customer seeking help. This situation is more than just poor service. Under consumer law, services must be delivered with reasonable care and skill. A key aspect of any service agreement is providing a viable way for customer communication and problem resolution, especially when the service has clearly failed. By accepting payment for a service, failing to fulfill it as promised (the missed collection), and then effectively denying the customer any means of inquiry or remedy, the company is violating its contractual obligations. This raises strong concerns about "mis-selling" or breach of contract, as the service paid for—which inherently includes a basic level of customer accountability—is not being provided. My rights in this situation are straightforward: to have the service performed in a reasonable timeframe or to receive a refund. Currently, I have neither and no effective way to pursue either due to the inaccessible customer support. Thus, I am formally escalating this as a complaint about the company's failure to offer a workable complaints process, which itself violates consumer protection regulations. I require you to either: Facilitate direct communication with the support team on my behalf to resolve the parcel issue, or Provide a clear, immediate, and functional escalation path within the company that will ensure a meaningful response and resolution. Please inform me how you plan to address this systemic failure to deliver both the service and the legally-mandated avenue for complaints. Best regards,

Delivery mishap with fragile item

The package was labeled as "fragile" and needed a signature upon delivery. However, it was simply left at the entrance of the building, and the delivery driver departed without obtaining any signature.

DHL has delivered the single worst service I’ve ever experienced from any courier.

I paid for next-day delivery on SATURDAY — and it is now TUESDAY with still no parcel, no explanation, and no sign of anyone at DHL having a clue what they’re doing. To make things even more infuriating, they marked the parcel as “delivered.” Delivered WHERE? Certainly not to me. No knock, no card, no neighbours with it, nothing. Just a blatantly false update to cover up a complete failure. And these weren’t just random items — they were my daughter’s birthday presents, and her birthday is TOMORROW. Thanks to DHL, instead of being excited for her big day, I’m scrambling at the last minute because a company I PAID EXTRA for can’t honour the most basic delivery commitment.Customer service? An absolute joke. Three separate times I was told someone would call me back. Three times, nothing. Not even the courtesy of pretending to care.At this point, I genuinely don’t know what DHL does all day, but it certainly isn’t delivering parcels or providing customer support.Avoid DHL at all costs. If you value your time, your money, or your sanity, do not trust them with anything — I wouldn’t trust them to deliver a leaflet through a letterbox.@Amrick - I emailed you.UPDATE:Hi Amrick,I need to update you again because this situation has now become even more unacceptable. It is now Wednesday — the day of my daughter’s birthday — and thanks to DHL’s mistakes, she woke up this morning with no presents at all. I cannot begin to explain how upsetting and disappointing this has been. I now have no choice but to go out this afternoon to buy replacement gifts at my own additional expense, simply because DHL failed to deliver the parcel I paid extra to receive on Saturday. To recap the full list of failures:I paid for next-day delivery on Saturday. It is now Wednesday, and I still do not have my parcel. The shipment was falsely marked as “delivered.”I was promised three separate callbacks, and none of them happened. The parcel contains birthday presents, and DHL’s delays have now directly affected my daughter’s birthday.DHL has admitted the parcel was delivered to the wrong address, yet I was implied to go and retrieve it myself — despite not even knowing where this incorrect address is.I am now being forced to spend additional money to replace gifts that should have been delivered days ago.At this point, I need DHL to take immediate responsibility for resolving this. I expect:The parcel to be retrieved by DHL, not by me.Proper delivery to my correct address today or confirmation of next steps.Compensation for the service failure and the additional costs I now have to incur. Please confirm urgently that this is being escalated and actioned today.
