The worst courier company that I have ever encountered. I have received 3 notifications to say that my parcel will be delivered and I'm yet to receive it. I have been given a different story every time I call them. They are taking longer to deliver my parcel than it has taken to travel from the South to the North of Italy and then the flight to Ireland. It was meant to be for a gift. Thanks GLS for ruining what was meant to be a nice surprise. A joke of a company and business. The company needs a serious shuffle in management and organisational skills.
Update: parcels were sent, delivered except for 1, receiver has contacted gls, 1 parcel out of 8 is officially lost, officially lost! How is that even possible with tracking numbers!!! Some things have value other than money. Very upset. People, really,just stay away! Not trustworthy at all. Had to wait for them to come and collect parcels few days in a row, and they said that courier came but there was nobody home! Lies, lies.. Not efficient at all! People, choose another company, maybe pay more, but you will have no headache.
GLS lost my parcel and then lost the replacement. Customer service is mostly nice but absolutely useless and powerless. 8 business days to bring a parcel from the EU to IE is a joke.Edit: I was then able to speak with some good customer support and they ensured I received my (second) parcel before I left the country. The first package that was lost was then delivered to me out of nowhere 3 months after the expected delivery date.
