Disappointing Trade-In Experience in Australia

The process is not user-friendly and initially hard to navigate. It's unclear how to manage the return package and what needs to be signed. There are no clear instructions, and to make matters worse, you have to contact the courier service for pickup. Someone must be at the pickup location to hand over the package and the forms to the driver. The pickup time is vague, occurring anytime in the morning or afternoon. This is very inconvenient and not acceptable. Why can't I just drop it off at a postal service?

Unfulfilled Promises on Trade-In Value

They promised £95 for my iPad Pro, which was in perfect working condition. However, I received a revised value of zero. I ended up paying £95 more than I wanted for a new iPad. I wouldn't recommend using this service. For a company that makes as much money as they do, this service is a joke.

Frustrating Experience with Trade-In

It's hard to believe these people are still in business considering the negative experiences shared. I wanted to trade in my watch, and the website redirected me to them. The posting kit took forever to arrive, and once I finally sent the watch, proof of delivery was provided within two days. However, they failed to register the receipt and began sending reminder emails. After several emails, they claimed the watch didn't power on and reduced the quote to zero. I had just taken it off before sending, and it was working perfectly. I'm now waiting for them to return my watch, which is taking over a week, and I'm losing hope. Moving forward, I'll deal directly with the store. Avoid this service!

Caution with Trade-In Offers

I returned my old iPad Pro for part exchange for a new one, and it was in excellent condition. Initially, the estimated value was £95, but I later received a message saying the value was revised to zero due to claimed damage. I canceled the return and requested it back. Upon receiving it, it was in perfect condition. This trade-in system feels like a scam to secure new sales.

Extremely Poor Service

Given the brand's reputation, I expected a smooth trade-in process for my iPad Pro. However, the packaging I received lacked instructions. When I sent it back, the courier service had multiple failed pickup attempts. My £515 seems to have vanished. I fear that once they receive it, they will undervalue it despite its pristine condition.

Received a Different Damaged Phone

They returned a damaged phone after rejecting my trade-in. I sent in an iPhone in great condition, but they claimed it wasn't as described. I requested the phone back, but the one returned had extensive damage and was not the same as what I sent. I suspect my phone was swapped with a damaged one. I'm now left trying to prove that what they sent back is not what I provided. The support staff have been polite, but the system doesn't address this issue, leaving me feeling victimized.

Dramatic Drop in Valuation

I was offered £370 for my phone, but after sending it, the valuation dropped to zero due to alleged defects. An empty box arrived for me to send my phone, but the instructions were vague. I requested it back, but it came minus my case. Customer service was unhelpful, and when I took the phone to a store, they offered the full £370. This trade-in service does not seem worthy of the brand.

Terrible Purchase Experience

This was my first attempt at a trade-in, and since the nearest store is far away, I opted for shipping. After they received the computer, I was notified of incorrect information, leading to a $0 offer. I know the details were accurate, and despite customer support opening a ticket, it was rejected again. I've lost a customer of 30 years over this.

Missing Item After Trade-In

I sent in my Apple Watch Series 9, but they claim they haven't received it, despite my proof. I was told it would take 25-48 hours for processing, but days have passed without any update. They sent me a box to return my watch when I don't even have it. This feels like a scam, and contacting them is impossible.
