Both staff members failed to take my disabilities into account and treated me in a hostile and unprofessional manner. When I urgently needed to exit through the entrance gate due to my autism and physical disability, both individuals began shouting at me. I explained several times that I needed to leave quickly to prevent collapsing or triggering seizure episodes, yet they ignored my medical needs. Instead, the security guard insinuated that I might break the pole, which was upsetting and inappropriate.Their behaviour escalated the situation instead of de-escalating it. The security guard stepped very close to me, pointed fingers, and repeatedly called my brother “my friend,” which felt dismissive and unprofessional. The checkout assistant also showed no concern for my condition, even though I clearly stated I was at risk. This experience left me terrified, overwhelmed, and in crisis. I ended up crying for nearly an hour while trying to regain mobility and prevent a full-body seizure.I am requesting that both staff members receive further training on disability awareness, de-escalation, and respectful communication. No disabled customer should ever be shouted at or threatened while trying to prevent a medical emergency.
Ordered some earphones because I needed them the next day at work. They didn't arrive at the store eventhough it said they would. Ordered them to my house instead, they were faulty. Booked a return collection, they collected on 15th November. After the collection they deleted my order number from their systems so I couldnt contact any customer service teams. I had to buy a pencil case in the end to get a new order number so I could get through to someone.Once through, they said they refused to give a refund without proof of return. It was literally collected from my house, what proof would I have? They don't give you anything when they collect a return. I am now £265 down with no earphones.Absolutely shambolic from start to finish. Avoid Argos, just shop at Amazon, like I should have done in the first place.
