Frustrating warranty return experience

I returned my boots to the company for a warranty issue, but after a month, I still haven't received any updates or my boots back. There’s no direct contact number for that department, and my emails have gone unanswered. Now, I’m left without my boots and the money I spent on them.

Toe box failure after normal wear – Lack of warranty support

I've been a fan for years, but my latest pair suffered a serious structural failure: the toe box collapsed after normal use, creating a painful ridge in the insole. After just under 2 years of regular use, they had to be retired. The company attributed this to 'heat exposure,' although they were never near any heat source. They did not recognize any manufacturing issue, and the repair cost was more than buying a new pair. Although my exact model may no longer be available, I want future buyers to be aware of my experience regarding durability and warranty accountability. For the price point, I expected much better support. In the end, these boots were not made for walking, and that’s exactly what they failed to do.

Great customer service and quality products

I have a pair of hiking boots... Sorry, don't know the model... along with several other brands. These boots are by far the most comfortable and fit the best. I have a narrow heel and high arch, and I can wear them comfortably for hours, even with a pack. I find it hard to find boots that fit as well as these. I did have a problem, but customer service was fantastic! I left a voicemail and received a callback within an hour. The representative quickly understood my issue and had a satisfactory resolution within a day. She was not only friendly but also very knowledgeable. I will definitely continue to buy their products and recommend them for their fit, comfort, traction, performance, and customer service.

Owned many pairs, but quality is lacking

I've owned many pairs of these boots, and they usually wear out in less than 5 months, which I accept. However, a recent pair that I wore lightly completely fell apart. The customer service provided me with a cobbler's contact info but offered no further assistance, ignoring all my emails. The cobbler informed me that the company uses low-quality glue for the soles and that I would be charged for repairs. I reached out to their European headquarters with no response. At $325 a pair, I expected much better treatment.

Disappointing experience – Awaiting a response

This is really disappointing. I’m leaving a low review, but I will update it if customer service gets back to me. I’ve been trying to contact customer service since May 2025. I bought an expensive pair of hiking boots, and within five minutes of wearing them, I noticed a defect. I submitted a detailed email for a return authorization number and filled out the contact form on their site. Although someone eventually replied, after I responded with the necessary information, I have received no further communication for over a week. There’s no U.S. phone number, and no live chat available. This is extremely frustrating. I had high expectations after purchasing my boots while traveling, believing I was investing in quality gear. Now, I regret the purchase entirely. Why is it so hard to get help? Please, respond to me.

High price but low quality

These boots are really expensive but poorly made. The insole started peeling off after less than 3 months. I asked about it on their site, and although they reached out for a picture, they never replied after I sent it. Shortly after, my laces got undone while walking, causing one of the lace hooks to rip off. This is not covered by their warranty. I've never seen an insole peel away like this before. It was very disappointing, especially considering the price. Being ignored by customer service was the final straw. I feel like I should just throw them away.

Received multiple defective hiking boots

I received three pairs of defective hiking boots with low-quality foam under the sole, which broke down unexpectedly. The adhesive sole is also defective. The company claims they wore out from not being used enough, but I had two pairs worn indoors. They told me not to contact the retailer and refused to warranty them. They also claimed they were sold by another entity, so they would not take responsibility. All boots are made in Europe, and the company should be serving its customers. I've purchased 13 pairs from them; it's time to say goodbye.

Mixed experience with walking boots

I purchased a $200 walking boot that was comfortable, but I noticed a floppy sound in the left boot. After returning them and providing explanations and pictures, it took a while to get them back. Once returned, they seemed fine for a while, but now I'm experiencing the same issue again. I like the look and feel, but it’s not worth the hassle.

Defective shoes and poor customer service

I bought a pair of shoes for $225. After testing them for 20 minutes indoors, I had no issues. However, when I tried them on synthetic turf, I developed a sore spot on my right foot after just 10 minutes. My son also experienced the same issue. The shoes were defective out of the box, but the company claims it’s a warranty issue and won’t pay for return shipping or refund. They don’t return calls or answer the phone. Additionally, I ordered a size 9.5, but the shoes were marked as size 9 inside. The company has made the return process overly complicated. Summary: defective shoe from the start, yet they refuse to take responsibility.
