First, they charged me $3.62 for $1 worth of extra data. When I asked them why, they said the rest was "tax". 262% tax??? I told them that was a big fat lie, then they started blowing up my phone with texts every few seconds. I actually had to block the "Customer Care" number to get the harassment to stop. Then my data stopped working. When I called to ask them why, they said I had used it up with calls to 911 and 988. Even if that weren't another big fat lie, calls have nothing to do with data. They're not even GOOD liars! So, I found a new company. I haven't gotten my new SIM card yet, but they've already deactivated their service. This company is TOTALLY SLEAZY. Run the other way!
I have wasted more time trying to deal with you. You keep me on the phone just to tell me you don’t have any free phones. So, I get transferred to someone trying to sell me a phone. Unacceptable. GO OUT OF BUSINESS!!
A COMPLETE SCAM! The shipping costs nearly doubled the price of the low-quality phone I was compelled to purchase, and they even charged sales tax on the shipping! I doubt that's legal, but this service seems to be backed by corrupt state authorities. The only shipping option available was the most expensive one, and I have little faith that the phone or service will be any better. It feels like a scheme for unscrupulous companies to exploit those in need; this was intended to be a lifeline phone. It could very well jeopardize my safety. A total rip-off. The day after I placed my order, they charged me heavily for '2-day air' and then sent an email saying 'Order Delayed.' This service thrives by taking advantage of the vulnerable.
A RIPOFF SERVICE!Shipping almost doubled the cost of the crappy phone I was forced to buy and they charged sales tax on the shipping! I do not think that is legal but this company is sanctioned by the corrupt state governments. The only shipping option I was given was the most expensive service, the most expensive way and I am sure the phone is crap and service will be crap too. Just a way for corrupt companies to profit from the poor, this was a lifeline phone. It will probably kill me.A double rip off. If I could rate with half a star or less, I would. The only reason they get 1 is because someone answered the phone twice! Unfortunately whoever answered the first time claimed they could complete my recertification application over the phone and allegedly did before giving me the number to the National Verifier. When I called them, they stated that Assurance sent them a phony document from another state that claims I was receiving benefits. I was livid and was able to explain to the agent I never provided a counterfeit document to Assurance. I did send the NV authentic documents immediately afterwards and was approved within an hour. Since my phone was off with Assurance, I called them a second time, told them what happened and that I didn't want to do business with them any longer. The representative, who acted as if she didn't care, switched me over to the survey recording, meaning she had disconnected the call. I chose a different carrier to do business with after that incident and already see they have a much higher rating. Assurance may set you up for fraud charges and they might even be the same people who were once Q-Link until they got shut down.
I had easily the worst customer service experience of my life trying to cancel an order. They lied to me and gave me an absolute run around with no solution to canceling my order. I ended up just having to file a dispute with my bank which is a headache in it of itself. Do not get assurance wireless
I am totally embarrassed that I had to deal assurance wireless. After dealing with them for months. I got a phone for my dad. They couldn’t activate a Wi-Fi didn’t work and I bought the phone from them. I returned the phone but another phone spent $500 on a new phone back-and-forth back-and-forth with Insurance wireless, and finally when I get a SIM card to activate. They told me that the services been disconnected because the phone has not been activated. Every agent that I spoke to never put notes on the account. I was just on the phone with them today, November 5 at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. The lady put me on home. Never came back. Some supervisor came on the phone and then he disconnected my call, so I really got to talk to no one. The point of it all is that my dad does not have a phone. He’s 91 years old and he’s in a nursing home. I have never dealt with a company that is so I’m reliable and so unprofessional and so kind. They keep telling you will help. You will help. You will help you, but nobody’s helping. I will never recommend this Company to anyone. I feel like this people have violated my Personal. Integrity and I’m sorry that my sister originally started the business with them when she originally got the phone from my dad. And because my sister, then I want to deal with my dad anymore. I have to take over the phone problem And so I have, but this Company has not helped with anything anyway, if you’re looking to activate a free phone for your dad or your mom, who is still in a nursing home. Please don’t have to wait through Insurance wireless. Their services is totally not good with that being said, let me take a deep breath because I need to move on.
I would say no stars.i was told I would get a free government phone and I was lied to I have no job,EBT and kids need for doctors spy ect but obviously this is a scam got approved letter and talked to a representative to ast week said my phone was shipped now I get email it's delayed I call and was told no phone my application is still pending but how when I got a letter in the Mail??
I got my life line Renewal in June and was approved until 2026. Assurance wireless cut my phone number off saying it wasn’t approved by life line pay 50.00 it will be 5 to 7 days to fix the problem. I refuse to let T-Mobile scam me
