Review Time
My lovely initial necklace needed a clasp replacement after five years of daily wear. I was impressed by how easy the repair process was. There was a simple form to fill out on their website, and everything went smoothly. I also asked if they could make the movable initial pendant static while they had it, and they were happy to accommodate me at no extra charge. I was thrilled to receive my repaired necklace back quickly and haven’t taken it off since!
I purchased an initials necklace 18 months ago, and it broke after six months. They repaired it under warranty, but it has now broken again in a different area. While they agreed to fix it again, this shouldn’t be happening if I take good care of it. I wish I had seen a review warning against these necklaces before buying, as it’s too much money for something that seems poorly made.
I bought an initial necklace from here; both the letter and clasp of the necklace have rusted over the space of a few months. It's been sat in the box it came in, and has hardly been worn or touched; certainly hasn't gotten wet or had any product, fragrances, sprays, on it. I would expect a lot more from a premium brand with premium prices. I have bought much cheaper sterling silver jewellery before that has lasted for years, and can at least be polished with a cloth or cleaning solution, whereas this has just randomly deteriorated with no way to salvage, or get my money back.
Have bought a few pieces from Aurum and Grey. All of them stunning and very stylish. On two occasions, the chains have snapped (I'm quite heavy handed). Each time, the team and A&G have dealt with the repairs professionally and smoothly. Clear communication, fairly priced repairs and perfectly repaired items. Can't fault them. Excellent customer service and communication regards a repair to my favourite necklace. There was no charge and the whole experience was brilliant. Great quality jewellery, no tarnishing and I never take it off. Beautiful packaging too.
