Delivery driver gave my $220 package I needed for work to some random person in front of my building. Auspost "investigated" and said he had done nothing wrong even though one of the people from Auspost I had spoken to had admitted he had done the wrong thing. I would not trust them to do the right thing. It took over a month to get a resolution Have not received compensation for time, loss, and stress. Disappointing but not surprising.
I ordered an alternator from an aviation company in Melbourne Australia. Supposedly, it was shipped by international parcel express on 27 March 2020. To date (6 April 2020) the parcel has not arrived. Worse yet, there is no way to get additional information from Auspost. This delivery service is horrible. Moreover, there is no customer service.
I haven't had much issue with AU Post as others. My location is small so yes there's a long queue at times. Otherwise it's OK. The app is great and works. Parcel collect is excellent, i don't like stranger coming to my door and I just don't have to deal with it. No fuss and I don't have to keep track.
I ordered a parcel and sent it through AUPost. The delivery man came to deliver my parcel and was very rude on the intercom. I understand that there are 20 odd parcels to be delivered however it does not warrant for someone to be super rude and to demand for the customer to come down now and threaten to send it to the post office. When asked if he could possibly send it up, he was very rude and did not explain just threatened to send it back to the post office.
One star is over exaggerated. Posted a parcel Monday 27th May, 2 days from Brisbane to Melbourne. The parcel has been 'sitting' in Melbourne since Thursday 30th May..........and no one can or will help. They are so complacent with this it is concerning, they do not care, they have no desire to assist. The parcel has now been lost I would imagine as it doesnt take that long to investigate.......but not one person at Austpost will take any responsibility.
This is the second time waiting for a parcel from Queensland (tracking number: UBD0019678 , I was watching ABC TV from 11.00AM, yet a delivery person claimed: on one at home.....at app. 11.50 AM. With private delivery companies. I have no problem at all. Auspost is getting worse & worse, not to mention mails missing and/or receiving wrong mails
I use AusPost quite frequently for International parcels under 1kg. It is quite quick to deliver but the cost is quite high. I have found cheaper prices than AusPost but I keep going back because they are reliable and fast.I would recommend their International parcels only if you are ok paying that little extra.
Always get quick service from the collection/pick up area. On Christmas eve I arrived after they had closed, the ladies were already headed past me out the building. One of the ladies reopened to help me and 2 others who arrived .She was polite and not once grumbled about staying later. Service like this is what makes AusPost great.
I had a bit of an issue over the scope and limitations of Australia Post's express post service with a retailer who was claiming that Australia Post wouldn't deliver to me. This seemed odd to me as I get express stuff quite regularly. I was able to jump to their website, actually speak to a person and confirm that I was indeed correct!Such a simple thing, took all of a minute. AusPost gets alot of flack (rightly and wrongly) but in this case they were great!
