The service by Barnard Marcus, notably Eva and her team was excellent. They are friendly, responsive and professional. Eva gave us an honest appraisal of our house and we had a viable buyer after a week on the market. Barnard Marcus kept in touch and helped make the process smooth. We’re now happily in our new home - from marketing my house to completion BM were on it every step of the way. Thank you.
I've only just started using Barnard Marcus in Streatham to find tenants and manage my small property portfolio. I was impressed with the efficiency and professionalism of their Lettings team. Bernardo was recommended to me from one of my clients and so far so good!
I will never use Barnard Marcus Epsom again. They handed keys to a tenant without having the tenancy agreement signed. We currently have tenants in £19000 rent arrears and Barnard Marcus have become less co-operative. Can I add they took half their annual fee upfront at the start of the tenancy back in September 2022. We are disgusted and will never use this company again. Always ask which credit agency they have used to vet their applicants and the thresholds used before signing a new tenant, this threshold can differ and be costly to you in the long term.
Shame on you nicole from north finchley branch. Ive had a horrific experience with marcus barnard agency in north finchley. I went in looking to rent a flat that i liked. I followed absolutely everything submitted my documents and bank statements on time. Only for them to message me and lie about my refrencing telling me it has failed even though there was no reason for it to fail. ( obviously not giving me a proper reason they just said its failed and i asked why? they said we dont know ill have my manager call you which he never did!!!!!!! ) These people are liars and thieves they steal from people and took advantage of me bearing in mind i am disabled i feel discriminated against as i wasnt given an actual reason. These people steal money and lie about refrencing i am very shocked by this whole situation i have lost out on money and valuable time with these people. Im talking about the north finchley branch they are horrible if i can give 1 star i would. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU DONT WANT THEM STEALING FROM YOU.
Billie from the Surbiton branch has been absolutely amazing. Although we unfortunately lost out on a flat at the beginning of our search, Billie persevered and found us a match, even though we had given up hope :-) Friendly, professional, the communication throughout the renting process was faultless. Thank you Billie, I can highly recommend you!
Absolutely Awful individuals. No communication re protocol re moving out no checkout/leaving report received. Nearly a month has passed and no word re the reimbursement of my deposit. Head office are absolutely useless Poppy A in Head Office is useless no response to emails. I’ve had to raise a complaint via the Tenancy Deposit Scheme to get my deposit back.
