The service I got from their Ealing office from the initial pricing of my property, personally arranging and managing potential client visits, managing the final agreed price from offer to staying involved once the legal process had begun was both professional and exceptionally helpful.
Barnard Marcus Tooting- The most unprofessional team of people. Refused to provide a contact number for our landlord when our house was in dangerous condition, mould, rats, broken toilet, broken shower etc… Stated they have nothing to do with the property anymore, however our rent is sent to them directly every month. Manager Marta was very rude and ended the phone on me when I tried to explain that the house is not suitable to live in. Avoid this estate agents.
We are currently in the process of completing both the sale and purchase of our properties with Barnard Marcus, Feltham, where all the staff that we have had dealings with, in particular James and Evan, have shown us nothing but professionalism throughout the process. They have kept us up to date on both the sale and purchase from the moment we walked through their door and we would certainly have no hesitation in recommending them and would definitely use them again in the future. There may be some negative reviews about the service they provide, however we can honestly say this has not been our experience and people reading these reviews should not be put off by them.
I have been having difficulty selling my house.I received a letter from Barnard Marcus saying they were aware of this & that they could help.They arranged a home visit. Less than 2 hours before the appointment they phoned to say there was no point in them coming as they don't do my area.
Michael at Barnard Marcus New Malden not only caused my sale with them to not proceed costing me £1000 in wasted solicitor fees due to his incompetence but also when I left and joined a new estate agent he sabotaged my current sale by sharing my information to a buyer in direct violation of the property ombudsman’s code. I even came in to the offices once to collect my keys and they had the door locked as a customer was angry at Michael!!! Avoid this estate agent at all costs in New Malden, im currently going through their complaints procedure!
Worse customer service: Barnard Marcus Muswell Hill.Following a bereavement case Barnard Marcus refused to transfer the deposit to me. Didnt want raise a complaint to TDS. The landlord and myself had to raise a complaint with TDS, who transferred the funds straight away.Started a complaint process with Barnard Marcus. Customer Service as poor as the local BM Muswell hill. Agency didn't see any issue with the non acceptance to transfer the deposit, get TDS involve and just dismissed the case.Asked for last resolution email to go to Ombudsman property, no replies after that. Really poor service, not sure that they know what they are doing. Will be scared to put a deposit them as it is a hassle to get it after.
Leon was fantastic and nothing was too much trouble. Despite dealing with some difficult access issues, he remained positive and helpful throughout. His team were also great and super helpful. Overall an excellent experience. Well done team Muswell Hill!
