I purchased the crowdfunding security cameras and when I received them I thought they looked and felt like quality, unfortunately they lied about the zoom and it is nothing like stated, the quality is atrocious and grainy. I have had nothing but issues with both units and sent the uploads etc to them and never got a reply even a month later. Same issues still exist. I told them immediately I wanted to return them for a refund and they refused, simply stating that I have a warranty. What good is a warranty on a product that does not do as advertised? Both Arlo and Riolink not to mention Eufy, have better quality for same price and less with superior zoom image quality, nothing like this useless grainy image from Baseus.
I am extremely disappointed with Baseus Security. They use "Bait and Switch" tactics to mislead customers. On their official website, the X1 Pro camera was clearly advertised with a "Free Shipping" badge. Furthermore, their official Europe Shipping Policy states that orders over €60 to Romania benefit from Free Shipping.
My order exceeded €130, yet I was forced to pay an additional HK$214.00 for shipping via PledgeBox to receive my item. When I provided screenshots of their own website and policy as proof, their support team (Emeri) refused a refund and instead offered a useless 20 EUR discount code for a future purchase.
They claim that free shipping only applies to "multi-unit bundles," a condition that was never mentioned on the landing page where the "Free Shipping" offer was displayed. To make matters worse, they have since updated their website to hide the "Pre-order" button, likely to cover their tracks.
This is a clear case of misleading advertising. I have already escalated this matter to the European Consumer Centre (ECC). Beware of "hidden" costs when backing Baseus projects!

I bought a magsafe powerbank for my iphone in November 2023.In October 2025 I noticed that the powerbank didn not fit on my phone anymore and then found it was due to the battery swelling. I immediately contacted customer support who advised me to discontinue using it and within two days, I was told I will be getting a full refund via paypal.The product unfortunately failed but CS handled it well and quickly so.
DO NOT BUY FROM BASEUS!! Baseus is a scam company and advertises free returns, but they don't tell you that they have a 7-day return policy. You have to search through their entire site and their return policy is unclear. When my item arrived on September 15, they argued that it had arrived three days earlier. All packages in my community are logged through an Amazon locker and scanned immediately upon entry, so their claim is false. They refused to allow me to return or exchange this item. Any company that has a 7-day return policy is UNREASONABLE! Bottom line: They refused to accept a return or exchange, even though the item I purchased ended up having connection issues. Baseus is NOT a good company, and this will be the last time I take their advice—or ChatGPT’s advice—on purchasing from them.

While the initial claim of "free return" is misleading, customers can get repairs or exchanges for free within the warranty period. However, for non-quality issues or non-defects, customers are responsible for return shipping costs.
I’m really impressed with the Baseus Bowie WM02 TWS Bluetooth Earphones Stereo Wireless 5.3 earbuds! The sound quality is clear with good bass, and they’re super comfortable to wear even for long hours. Battery life lasts me the whole day, and the case charges quickly. For the price, they feel premium and reliable. Only thing I’d love is a bit more noise cancellation, but overall, great value—I’d definitely recommend them!
