On 12 December, I received an order confirmation and reached out to the company multiple times through chat, chatbot, and phone to ensure timely delivery, as the items were intended as gifts. Each time, I was assured that delivery would occur before Christmas, despite a vague disclaimer in the email mentioning that delivery dates are 'not always guaranteed.' Later, I learned that the items were stored in different warehouses and needed to be consolidated. After that, communication became nearly impossible: no real customer service, no clear updates, only a chatbot. On 22 December, I received shipping details, which gave me hope. However, tracking indicated that the items were only picked up on 22 December and moved to a warehouse on 23 December—far too late for Christmas. When I contacted the company again, the response was dismissive: 'It’s out of our warehouse; now it’s the logistics company’s responsibility.' Cancellation? Only by refusing delivery, after which the company would 'check' and decide whether to refund. This is completely outdated and unacceptable.
