We got a table here at last minute as we were late arriving into Stratford upon Avon . (24th March )The table was at the back with an unpleasant odour but because we were hungry and it was getting late we stayed. The food was very bland and amateurish . One of the starters was advertised as ‘sharing’ yet only came with one piece of bread. When we asked for more bread we were told it was 15p per slice extra ! I have never been charged for bread by the slice before. When the bill came it was so over priced. I got an automated survey following our visit and put all the above in it and as yet no response from the company
Bella Italia Castlegate Dudley Very impressed with the food and menu choice. Lovely cocktails, good atmosphere. Lots of gluten free and other allergies covered.. and the gluten free food was really nice.. my husband had normal option and said his was delicious too.. We are planning on being regulars - definitely recommend!
Cold food, slow service and food delayed. Missed item off order, and no offer of refund or discount to compensate.Worst of all, it was the manager who served us and he didn’t seem friendly, instead came across fairly arrogant.Even criticised a previous manager, Diana, gloating that he sacked her.
This was the first visit to a Bella Italia and the location was Salford Quays. The service was reasonable from the ordering time to the delivery to the table. But then it fell apart!I had ordered the FUNGHI CREMA whilst my wife opted for the BOLOGNESE with a side order of ROSEMARY FRIES.Each of the dishes were barely warm, with the sauce on the Funghi Crema congealed at the bottom of the dish where it had gone cold. The restaurant was not particularly busy, so perhaps this is normal for how these dishes are served.I wouldn't of wanted the food reheated as I just couldn't wait to leave the establishment.
It's OK, decent Italian food. Pizza and calamari is nice, however I went with a friend who had an allergy and the waitress said they would 'check the packaging' of the dish, meaning its not made from fresh which is disappointing. They also only serve weird uncommon beer that tastes weird, and they take about 10 years to get you a drink refill
Last weekend it was our first time ordering from Bella Italia – Uxbridge location. We are very disappointed because the food arrived ice cold ): ): ):The portions were small for the price that we paid £45. By the way, the size of tiramisu was ridiculously small.Overall, the food was pretty good after reheating everything in the oven. I would order again from this place however, if the restaurant provides me a discount voucher so I can give them a second chance. However, as of right now I would only give the restaurant 2 stars.
Went to the Dudley restaurant this weekend. Food was nice, service not so nice. Took ages to receive drinks, they did acknowledge this and took 2 drinks off the bill at the end. I then tried to pay part of the bill with a voucher to which they told me that they couldn't accept it as they had been taken over recently and were no longer taking voucher's leaving me with a full bill to pay which I hadn't planned for.
This review relates directly to bella italia new street birmingham. Its poor. Carbonarra came out watery. The pasta dishes were boiled so much they nearly evapourated. My thoughts were lets pay the bill and leave. The manager decides to ask if everything was ok? My mistake was to tel him my honest opinion, to which his response was we cook everything fresh. Ok i believe you. Any way payed the bill and left never to return. The end
