So far terrible! Price is irrelevant to be honest Bingle, Aami....its all Suncorp run. What they have done is outsourced all call centre and handling to overseas agents who have no idea how to handle cases.

Currently a not at fault driver who is dealing with Bingle (my insurer) and Aami (the driver's insurer) has been like tumbleweeds for me. I have done so much leg work when I am the victim in all this.

At this point in time I am ready to make the repairs myself and have the at fault party simply pay me direct and cancel the whole claim, honestly given the minor damage it would be cost him the same and not affect his rating.

Next year will be avoiding all Suncorp related insurers, this has been less than satisfcatory to say the least!

Completely Unsatisfactory Claim Experience

I filed my claim on 25/11, and since then, the experience has been utterly disappointing. My central locking system failed right after the accident, even though it was functioning perfectly before, yet the service denied the repair without clear written justifications or explanations. Communication was extremely poor. I didn’t have a direct contact number for anyone managing my claim until I lodged a formal complaint. I had to follow up multiple times and spent over an hour on hold just to get basic information. Responsibility was divided among several individuals, with no one taking ownership. The assessment officer was unprofessional and dismissive, showing no interest in understanding my situation, and insisted he wouldn’t reconsider his decision, irrespective of the evidence I provided. I was then informed that I had to arrange and pay for my own independent assessment, as well as cover the costs for vehicle transport and a rental car, placing all the burden and inconvenience on me. I would NOT recommend.

Low-Cost Options Come with High Frustration

I am very dissatisfied with the service. My car was “lost” for 17 days, accompanied by unclear communication, repeated contradictions, and delayed assessments. The service was poor — I will be canceling my policies and escalating the issue.

Nightmare Experience Post-Accident

I wasn't insured by the service but had an accident involving someone who was. Dealing with them has been a nightmare. It took three weeks just to request the police report, and that only happened because I kept following up. Their slow response seems a mix of incompetence and what feels like a deliberate attempt to delay payouts. Overall, a very poor experience.

Unresolved Claim Issues

I had my car insured with the service. Upon filing my accident claim, they went to great lengths to avoid paying out. I complained to the ombudsman, but they sided with the insurer, which hindered my claim. I suspect the ombudsman may have ties to the insurance sector.

Terrible Customer Service

The customer service and overall experience have been the worst. If I could give zero stars, I would. Staff were rude and yelled at customers who were already in distress after an accident.

Frustrating Insurance Start Date

I applied for car insurance starting 26 June 2025, but after payment, it stated the policy begins at 11:59 PM on that date. It feels like I won't have insurance when I pick up my new car. Total ripoff.

Long Wait with No Resolution

I have been waiting over four weeks with no outcome or payout. The accident occurred on 14 December, and I'm still waiting for an assessment of my car, despite the repairer declaring it a write-off. I’ve called twice and received conflicting information. People hang up or transfer me, forcing me to restart the process. There’s no accountability or timelines provided.
