Aggressive sales tactics - calling me 2 to 3 times per day since September (it is now January). They are relentless with emails and calls and refuse to quit no matter how many times I hang up on them or ignore them. Due to their aggressive sales approach, there is no chance I would ever do business with them, even if there was a business need. Stop calling me.

Be careful to understand what you are buying. Lots of features, but each will cost you. I purchased a package for 2 years @ $12k a year with 3 users. Before buying, I always put into an email my understanding of what I am buying. Lucky I did as the system was not programmed correctly and I was missing many of the features I paid for. The project manager or CSR would add the features, but I always got a lecture before she would add "what I paid for." I lost months of use because the company cared more about selling than programming the software based on what one buys. My recommendation is to stay away from this software if you are a company that only posts 15 or less times a week. It's expensive, and the ROI is not there. The fighting with them to get what I paid for speaks volumes about their values. Brandwatch comes 1st and not the customer.
I just got a cold call from BrandWatch offering me a ‘job’ where I will get paid for leaving reviews for hotels and restaurants on Google that I haven’t been to. I said, ‘so you basically want to pay people to leave fake reviews?’ to which the woman said, ‘er no they aren’t fake reviews, we are helping legitimate businesses with their marketing…’ I said, ‘with fake reviews…’ phone went dead.Hopefully they’ll make this sort of thing illegal at some point.
I used to love Brandwatch. Not any more.I liked it so much I took it to new workplaces, and have recommended it to colleagues many times. NEVER AGAIN. I've been trying to cancel an autorenewal scheduled for July since January but emails go unacknowledged. I've tried numerous email addresses - nothing - and there's no phone number listed. (Presumably so that staff aren't forced to defend dodgy business practices?)Even worse, the in-platform chat function appears to have been disabled so I can't contact support. Nasty stuff. So the autorenewal went through and now I'm wasting time emailing into the abyss trying to secure a refund. Wish me luck.
Zero upon ten.Was promised multiple features during sales and demo and was told that all issues can be resolved. Upon using the program for 1 day, it can't even properly schedule a post without screwing up alignment or better still, not able to post.Contacted the sales rep and she told me she has no authority and asked me to talk to customer success team. Spoke to the customer success team and she also acknowledged it as a program issue and not able to resolve it, told her to cancel the program and she say she will follow up. That was in Feb 2025. Till today, the company finance team is still sending me payment reminder AND are threatening and the customer success agent went MIA. Contacted sales agent and she say it is not her fault. What a total waste of time. There are much better programs out there with more humane approach. Zero upon ten.
I received a package in the mail from this company and I don't know why. I've never signed up and I don't even know what this company do. In the package was a letter, that said "Brandwatch" on the top and underneath that it says "Store Evaluator Task Instructions". There was also a check inside from Belco community credit union for the amount of $985. The letter tells me to deposit the money, and use $800 of that to buy 2 $400 gift cards from Nordstrom and I supposed to keep $185. I went to Brandwatch's website to see what they're about, website didn't really give me what I was looking for so I tried contacting them. The number that was giving for Brandwatch is a run around and I can't send a ticket unless I have a business email. Not sure who to contact, but after doing my research, the BRANDWATCH company in general just gives SCAM, and after reading these reviews, that's exactly what it's giving.......SCAM
Brandwatch is horrible. We weren't happy with any aspect of it: The product, the service and mainly the business ethics. We black-listed them as a vendor and will never engage with them in the future. We recommend anyone thinking about doing business with this company to avoid doing so. Zero out of ten.
We were initially interested in subscribing to Brandwatch and had a 15-minute introductory call with their sales representative. The first meeting went smoothly, and we were looking forward to a live demo to better evaluate the product. However, scheduling the demo turned into a frustrating experience.Despite setting up a meeting multiple times, the company canceled at the last minute—three times in a row. Each time, the cancellation happened just minutes before the agreed-upon time, with no prior notice or attempt to reschedule in a professional manner. This experience raised serious concerns about their reliability and customer service. If they are this unresponsive during the sales process, it makes us question how they handle actual customer support. Unfortunately, due to this lack of professionalism, we’ve decided to look elsewhere.
