Disgraceful treatment by ‘Alan’ at Brent Council Noise Complaints

One of my neighbours is having a party with guests playing loud music and shouting at 12.30am. The whole street is being kept awake. I called Brent on this number 020 8937 1234 after 15 minutes a chap called ‘Alan’ picked up who told me he could not do anything as the party was in a garden and they do not investigate that. Alan was rude and dismissive and didn’t offer any advice or show any empathy to the situation even when I told him my partner was 9 months pregnant. Disgusting attitude! I’m appalled. He basically made me feel bad for calling and bothering him. The amount Brent charge for council tax and this is how we are treated. It will be a sleepless night but this week I’ll pop over to Brent head office to meet some of these useless employees. Alan also would not give me his surname. Wow!

Absolutely disgusting service for the British Ceremony.I wouldn't recommend to anyone going there for that. If you can please book your ceremony somewhere else.From start to finish everyone is rude and all they are looking for is to take your money for the pictures after the ceremony.You people should be ashamed.

I am an ex Brent engineer. in my department all you need to do to go up the ladder is to keep say yes yes yes to HR. Specially if you are a white or black/ Asian acting gate-keeper ( racial gate keeping), you will be a manager even if you never dreamt of being one. Brent wil dream for you and realise the dream on your behalf. just keep saying yes yes yes. The managers are incompetent at all, they are nothing but emails despatching machines my managers can't even use the software I use to do my designs Auto CAD, I had to pdf my drawings for them to check, They waste tax payers money in bullying and harrasing their own employees in lengthy campaigns to manage them out when an employee stand-up to the toxic working environment.When an employee like myself dares to challenge them, the employee case will be distributed among various managers who won't waste the opportunity gang against you to crash you down with mercy just to show loyalty to HR. They are ruthless machines, I had PTSD following being assaulted in the street,all I needed special chair to work and adjustable desk, the management wanted to save money and and scrapped the desk this cause my lower back pain goes worse and being absent, they fabricated me grievance and sent me the letter when I was of sick. Something one with morals won't do to thier enemies. If you ever wondered why the council is not delivering you services and the endless potholes in your stree it is because they put managers on the top based on their loyality not competency. They could not even fabricate a grievance to me properly and kept changing the allegations from letter to another.the short sight vision of the management making teams always work understaff to save money go the overpaid senior member such as Carolyn Downs, the understaff teams lead to employees being under pressure to perform and sickness levels increase and toxic working environment. re-active type of management style which acts only when something become an issue or when a Cllr or senior member is beig involved. People who get what they want in Brent are the ones who complaint most and who get cllrs or MPs involved. this is when the management panic and give you what you need. They have tired to manage me out since 2019_ 2021 and still could not do it clean, Now they are wasting your money in defending it in the tribunal on 22 days hearing. One can imagine how much was wasted in this when thinking only that they hired a top barrister two solicitors and he offices I believe that Brent council chief executive is being old to leave or running away because of my case. She announced that she will be resigning in April. Check Sayed Yusuf v Brent on Google and you will know

If it was possible I would give 0 stars. Child services are the most horrible, disgusting people they go to the greatest lengths to save their jobs even if they have to tear families apart and psychologically traumatise innocent children.They have ruined my life.

GET RID OF THE AUTOMATED OPERATOR!!

BRENT COUNCIL r LAZY!! They r time wasters with the talking operator and to press NUMEROUS OPTIONS! NOT ENOUGH HUMAN OPERATORS. Plus they don’t answer at lunch time! The STAFF has been cut down to allow for the talking service! So to save their bloody money! CAN NEVER GET THROUGH TO ANYONE WITHOUT WAITING FOR SO LONG ON THE PHONE WITH THE AUTOMATED NONSENSE!!

I would give zero stars

Brent council are the worst council ever. Housing officers never get back to you, you are not allowed to talk to the department you need on the phone, you must leave a message and it will be relayed to the department on your behalf and half the time the department dont know anything about it. If you call the rents or council tax team you get through straight away which I find hilarious and you can talk to the department you need. I think that might be to do with Brent council getting your money. This council is s absolute joke.

The Brent Council need to be investigated

The Brent Council is one of the HEARTLESS and LAZY offices in UK. And they are absolute professionals in bringing reasons why they did not follow up on complaints / calls, pretending busy or that the complaint was in-complete, etc. They did not follow up on any of my noise complains about the famous loud music by white van RK07LDA at Craven Park Rd and black van SE55ZDP, and the religious guy shouting with microphone every Wednesday for 3 hours as if this is war zone, and loud music at night by One Shop Caribbean restaurant. I have all case numbers I reported to police and council, but Brent Council just don't care. No wonder this is the worst area to live in London. What breaks my heart is not even for myself, there is a poor black guy at High Street who might have psychological problems too and I feel so bad for him, he sits in the street every night until 3am in the cold winter until the Mosque opens to have a warm place to sleep, he sits behind the door of the flat that he thinks court has taken from him, and it just breaks my heart that nobody in Brent council does not do anything to help this poor guy. I am so happy to leave this area.
