The platform is good and the money custodio part is great, but logistics are terrible in my experience.I paid for my bike two weeks ago, and still has not left the sellers house.Shipment of the packaging material got delayed.Now collection of the bike got delayed again. For every delay, the seller needs to wait a number of hours before re-schedulling, which delays everything even more. All of this while the buyer does not have much information because in the shipment of the materials to the seller, the buyer gets less updates from the shipping company itself and the buycycle estimates of the delay make no sense whatsoever and the buycycle tracking has some lag.And then, buycycle is just another company that in the 'contact' section they leave you with a bot.To put thousands for a bike and have this experience is nervewrecking.Of course here buycycle can just go and blame the courier, but as a customer of buycycle I can only justify the service received from the fact that their platform is unique.1st update: Missed collection on the 2nd of February because the courier did not show up. The seller waited 12h just to reschedule and was offered the 5th as the first available option. 3 days of waiting! If the 5 business days shipping time is correct, I will receive the bike 4 weeks after purchase...2nd update. I get a notification on the 5th that the bike has been collected. On the 6th I get a notification saying the courier missed the pick up. I contact Buycycle and all they do is check the tracking link, they do not know where the bike is. They do not even contact the courier. All of this via email, that takes hours to a day to answer.Downgrading to 2 stars from 3 starts.
