I had a really good experience. The whole process was easy and safe. I sold the bike without an issue and you can trust the system that you will not get scammed. It's a relief to have apps like this because you have something secure to rely on.
The photos published did not show all the damages the bicycle had. When I brought the bike to the workshop, I had to invest an additional 600 euros because the brake levers did not match the derailleur, the rear cables were so short that they were scratching the frame, and there was a risk that the bicycle could brake unexpectedly while cornering.When I submitted a claim and asked for an expert opinion from Buycicle, they did not pay attention to these details. Their conclusion was that there was no evidence and that I had to accept the bicycle as it was. I was not given any option to upload additional reports or photos.Then the website gave an automatic review to the seller I did not have even the time to go to the shop before this review was generated I felt scammed. If I could I will attach the invoices to this review.Please note that the reply from Buycycle agent giveme no other option than accepting the purchase and vendor conditions
Seller was very responsive, communication about shipping was good but most of all I felt secure buying the bike knowing BuyCycle was handling my money and wouldn't send it until I verified the bike was good. One thing that would be nice would have been the ability to do a video walk through of the bike with the seller. Because you can't even mention exchanging contact information to coordinate this or BuyCycle will block you, it made it impossible to coordinate. I wish that was a feature in the future.
No buyer protection. They answer only with an email that was on spam ! despite there is an inbox /message center on site profile. I was waiting for a response and i realized that was on my spam (not any alert or reply on site profile), then when i realized the answer was .. late !! sorry your claim just expired, even the fact that i send them pictures from broken part immedietly when i receive it. They just DONT WANT TO PAY the part was broken from the very first time, as i informed them. They never contact me for the issue through the chat.. just mail that went on spam. Also they didnt tried to contact me after through the chat which was the initial contact. It is not reasonable to ignore a refund ... they did everything to avoid payment and waste deadline. BYE BYE CYCLE !!
The site and process excel. This instance is my third bike sale, and over the last three years, their process has become more and more seamless. I remember the progression from the past to the present, which stands out the most to me. What is the most amazing? Their shipping box and payment process stand out as the most impressive features. The weakness is still getting their videos to marry up to the process changes—not bad, just not perfect. Furthermore, they could use a little more packing material for downtubes and stays. I purchase bubble wrap to ensure that my belongings remain scratch-free. Overall, the product process is excellent.
