Don't use byte!!!

If I could go back knowing what i know now ide never use byte! First things it took almost years to get my second session of trays. Yes I wasn't on top of hassling them but asking many times and not having it come with out jumping threw hoops like a freaking circus money for what they already got paid for to come. At the end after wearing trays that barely fit following exact instructions. They are unwilling to finish the tray treatments. Horrible customer service over the recent years. Lately maybe been trying a lil harder Yet in the long run its a complete waste of money and possible could ruin your credit if you dont keep up on the payments. Yet why keep paying for a service that doesn't keep their end of the agreement???. Maybe one for the courts in my mind. I have the funds. Not the issue lol. Their conduct as a company. Very very very very very... umm very under par!!! Don't use byte and if they dont work with me on finishing my treatments ya best believe ima scream it from the roof tops and sad to say many will listen to me lol. So we'll see either way my experience is they suck really bad. Let's see if they can regroup after being a really bad company im quite curious now.

Avoid Byte

Avoid Byte – Poor Service, No Refund, and Broken PromisesI started treatment with Byte around 3 years ago but didn’t complete it at the time. Recently, I was contacted multiple times by their team to *re-enroll* and finish my treatment. I eventually agreed, paid in full, and was promised new aligners.Since paying, I’ve received absolutely nothing—no aligners, no updates, no progress. Then, without delivering any part of the treatment, they canceled my case and refused to issue a refund. Their excuse? That I’m “in treatment,” even though I haven’t received a single thing.To make matters worse, they told me I needed to go to a specialist to get additional scans—which were not included in my original plan and would have come out of my own pocket. That was never disclosed up front.After pushing for a refund, I finally got an email saying I’d be reimbursed… only for them to follow up the next day claiming it was a mistake and refusing to refund me after all.This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I trusted Byte with my money and health, and they’ve completely failed on both. I absolutely do **not** recommend this company to anyone.

Don’t Use Byte!

Byte is misleading and does not complete your process. I went through the steps and suddenly towards the end Byte sent my final set of aligners that do not fit. Byte forgot to mention that it doesn’t matter if they fit or not because they don’t care. Mine do not fit. I have reached out multiple times to Byte and I get a automated response message saying they can no longer help me, yet I still continue to be billed by Synchrony Bank monthly, Byte vanished. I get responses telling me to go see a dentist as Byte may have damaged my teeth. What the heck is this. And still being charged for something that was not completed or now may have damaged my teeth? My teeth are not complete either. I feel scammed and taken advantage of by this company!

$739 to finish treatment?!

Byte promised to straighten my teeth. However, after two sets of aligners, they are still crooked.They asked me to provide x-rays, a scan, and dental records from my dentist and promised $400 reimbursement. I provided them with the requested information. They did not reimburse me, saying they will reimburse me AFTER I pay more money to "re-enter" treatment. I never completed treatment. My teeth aren't straight yet. In order to continue treatment, they want $739 *additional* payment, claiming I need to re-enter treatment.I never left treatment becuase they aren't straight. Better, but not complete.I am 0% satisfied and do NOT recommend Byte.

No customer support and bait and switch

There is absolutely no customer support or assistance as you are going through the aligner process. There is even less support once you are in retainers. DON’T BUY THEIR PROTECTION PLAN. Get your retainers somewhere else. They promised that they would send impression kits before each set of new retainers but after I paid for the service they now want me to go to my dentist AND PAY MY DENTIST MYSELF for a 3D scans to make new retainers!

"Clinical Support Team" scam

I've been having problems with my Byte plan for months now and they just keep giving me the run around to avoid accountability. This company is a scam, do not buy!!!! They will tell you they acknowledge the problem then follow this procedure: Ask for pictures Tell you to wait 14 days to see if the problem goes awayAsk for picturesTell you to wait 14 days to see if the problem goes awayAsk for picturesTell you to wait 14 days to see if the problem goes away This could go on for years (likely until they go bankrupt because they are already facing a lawsuit and have had their Better Business Bureau certification revoked)They will do anything to avoid accountability.

Extremely Disappointed — Do not waste your money with Byte.

They sent me aligners that never fit properly — from the very beginning there was a huge gap between my front teeth that never closed, even after finishing the entire treatment. I followed everything exactly, wore them day and night, and when I told them it wasn’t working, they made me go back 6 steps and do it all over again. Another full year went by — still no results.Now they’re dragging me through more emails asking for photos, trying to avoid responsibility. I’ve asked for a new impression kit and aligners because clearly mine were made wrong from the start. I’m done being patient.I live in Massachusetts and I will be filing in small claims court, where I’m legally allowed to sue despite their arbitration clause. I’m also contacting the Attorney General and the BBB. This is false advertising and a breach of contract.I regret trusting this company and I hope others think twice before going through what I’ve been through.

Get What You Pay For

The salesperson was incredible but the actual product experience left a lot to be desired. The app often resets the schedule which led to repeating steps if you went with the app's schedule instead of the prescribed (the app made you move through steps quicker than prescribed, prematurely starting new aligners). When the company had to work through issues with FDA in winter of 2024 and stopped processing orders/new retainers during that time, no one in support knew how to (or were willing) to pause payments until new products were received. Terribly incompetent. But you get the quality you pay for when you could just go with someone more reputable like Invisalign.

Buyer Beware!!

I did everything I was suppose to do and my teeth are not straight. They requested a second set of impressions which I gladly provided. Then they wanted additional items, such as x-rays and a mouth scan, that they stated could come from a dentist. I was disappointed since this was supposed to be all from home but still tried to get what they wanted. After talking to 7 local dentist and my local orthodontist, I let Byte know none of the the practices near me would scan my mouth without using their aligner company. So I provided the x-rays I had and told them about the scan and was told I won't be able to move forward. So i paid 2,000 for nothing.
