The cancellation process is too complex. But overall it's dating site so it's expected....besides that the customer service is Good. ..in that they refunded part of my payment. Read the terms and conditions carefully before subscribing .It's not easy.
These people are the worst people and I hope they are brought to justice. I did not have anything to do with this auto renewal now they say I owe them money and that they will send debt collectors to my home? Has anyone else had this??? Please let me know?
Nothing but a scam, not only are many of the user accounts fake, the website is clearly nothing more than way of trying to extract monies through threats of court action. Cancellation is all but impossible, this site needs to be closed down to stop unsuspecting users falling for their fraudulent tactics, Reported to the police, trading standards and the lawyers to the German Bar Association.
I have joined cdate as it was recommended to me by a friend and after many men try reaching me with messages i was so happy that i will find what am looking for online here but it sad as none of the men is able to see the messages i sent to them which is strange what might be the problem and what should i do so they can see my messages Thanks
I joined c-date's Premium Membership service after seeing it recommended on a list of good dating sites. However, after reading these reviews I fear I have been scammed. I have sent an email asking that my subscription be cancelled, and am now writing a review here as I fear my email will do nothing.
I have no recollection of previous communications with c-date.co.uk or eCollect. Also I have not subscribed to c-date. I subcribe to Malwarebytes Browser Guard and this warns me that c-date is a high risk site. I have done some research and it appears that c-date is nothing more than a scam. TRUSTPILOT has published hundreds of reports by unhappy people. I have filed a complaint with actionfraud.police.uk, National Fraud Intelligence Bureau and govcert.lu
I received a letter recently about a £287.99 debt from a debt collector agency over a free trial I cancelled as to not get charged after it was over because I did not use your website. There was no prior contact about it I have looked at every email I have from you during the time period they told me which was completely wrong as there was 0 in that period. There were some from late last year which consist of "new match" and "1 month free premium" and I'd like to know what's going on as this seems like you're trying to squeeze money I have no way of getting out of my pocket over a website I used for 2 days and cancelled any subscription to. If the subscription was not cancelled id like to inform you that your website doesn't work as I very clearly remember cancelling that membership as I've done this with a couple of sites trying to see what each were like and I cancelled every free trial I got. Yours however seems to be the only one that has put me into debt over a cancelled membership and because of that fact and the fact I have no way to arrange that sort of money at the current time I don't think this is something I'm willing to pay. Also may I add that sending a letter to me telling me there was prior documentation sent to me and I checked all my emails all letters sent to me in and before the period and nothing is there to document the debt makes the debt seem unfair as I have been promised there was documents sent to me either via email or physical letter
Cancelled my subscription. Yet 4 months later i got threatening emails saying payment overdue! No payment is overdue. I will not pay for something that is cancelled. Disgraceful way to run a site. The ombudsman has been informed and hopefully they will shut them down.Terrible site, Terrible customer service, just a scam to get money.
