Avoid This Company – Extremely Poor Business Practices

We had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with Kerala Taxi, mainly related to how they handled a deposit we sent in good faith.

After booking driving services and paying a deposit, we had to cancel our trip and notified the company immediately (early December 2024). At that point, we were surprised to be told that we would not receive a full refund—despite no prior disclosure of any such policy before they accepted our payment.

What followed has been over a year of exhausting and unproductive back-and-forth. Since December 2024, we have exchanged more than 120 emails with their representative, Sulekha, trying to recover our money. The company first reduced the refund amount without justification, then added unexpected banking/transaction fees (over $50 USD), leaving us with less than half of our original deposit.

Throughout this entire period (now extending into April 2026), we have been given a constant stream of conflicting explanations—claims that refunds couldn’t be processed to a credit card, that banks were unable to return funds, and other shifting excuses. Each delay led to another, with no real progress or resolution.

This has been incredibly time-consuming and discouraging. Holding onto customer funds for services never provided, while offering inconsistent and unclear explanations, reflects very poorly on their business ethics.

If you are considering using Kerala Taxi, we strongly recommend thinking twice before sending any deposit. Based on our experience, the lack of transparency, accountability, and timely resolution makes this a company we cannot recommend and would never use again.

One of the Best Rental Service I have…

One of the Best Rental Service I have experienced in India. The Cars are very well maintained. And the Drivers are really Polite & Well Spoken. Mr. Ajay, the owner is extremely accommodating in regards to the planning / changes in the trip. Visited my Family again after 2 years and used his Transport services. My family was very well looked after and the Trip was once again made memorable because of comfortable and Smooth rides throughout Kerala. Muxh recommended to everyone visiting Kerala.
