Easy access off the A75

Easy access off the A75. The signage could be better before the entrance. Nicely placed at the town for all services. Supermarket, fuel, bakery easy to pull up to. Our second visit. But be aware of the high speed ramp near barrier.

Secure fair price sites

Good basic facilities at a fair price. Always feels secure, good size marked pitches, EHU to each pitch. Easy to use water, grey and black waste with card or code

We LOVE Camping Car Park

We LOVE Camping Car Park! Always someone English speaking on the phone if you have a problem. Their app is great. Pay an annual fee for the ability to book ahead ensuring a pitch waiting when you get there. Everything a motorhome needs 😊

Le Lavendou site is across the road…

Le Lavendou site is across the road from the most beautiful fine sandy beach & tourquoise clear water, glorious. The site is best suited to motorhomes as no shower. However, there is chem waste, grey waste, drinking water, electricity and ample space. Parking is on three terraces, sometimes very large motorhomes make finding a space challenging (when there are clearly free EHU spots). Mostly good natured people. We chose top level with tree shade. Spar supermarket gentle stroll down the road, fresh bread, rotisserie, patisserie. Bar/restaurants next to site & along the front Take ant powder. Highly recommended. Btw we have a campervan. Warning if approaching from D98 don't take the D27 use use coast road D559. Hairaising 10k of largely single track moutain roads.

The site and area was lovely.

The site and area was lovely.Only issue was the electricity post was not working so contacted Camping Carpark. They were unable to fix immediately but an electrician was on site early the next morning.

Good location / tidy site

Noise.

Within a few minutes walk of the castle grounds. Sadly in the English reviews I found nobody mentioned the noisy train track that runs metres from the campsite boundary. The trains run until nearly midnight and start again just after 6am.

Temperamental barriers

Since purchasing the package subscription we have used two camping car parks. Both times the barrier would not open using the code provided. Customer service is slow and not really helpful. We have lost all confidence in the process of booking and using the barrier. We shall avoid using camping car park in the future.
