We have stayed at a few Camping Car Park aires in France and have found them exceptional. They are clean, well-maintained and all facilities are inlcluded in one very reasonable price, We've often paid the equivalent of around £7 per night with electricity (6A), water, and emptying facilities included - even in winter. There are occasional hiccups with the electronic entry devices, but you can reach the English speaking support staff immediately by phone and they have never failed to sort out any issues immediately. I wish we had more of these stopovers in the UK!
nice quiet site in a good location, easy access however getting out was a problem, I had paid for 24hrs but notified my intention to leave sooner, the barrier wouldn't open resulting in having to pay AGAIN just to get out, had I overstayed then I'd accept but I hadn't!, still had 10+hrs left
Lovely campsite, easy to find . All worked as you would want.It was also well situated to take your dog for a walk not far from the campsite.Would recommend. Camping Car Parks is a great way for people to travel and park in security for the night at a low cost.
A lovely stop on the edge of a beautiful village. Very quiet and nice flat spaces. The toilets were clean. I would have given it 5 stars, apart from the fact that the shower and washing up had no hot water (but it was -4C overnight, so they are forgiven).
This organisation will automatically renew your membership without any notice period and withdraw the registration fee directly from your account. When we contacted them as soon as we noticed the payment had been taken and explained that we no longer owned a Motor home and did not wish to renew our subscription. Despite our request they continue refuse to issue a refund or return the payment. It’s not about the money it’s about the fact the auto renewal is hidden in the terms and conditions.
Challans, Its a wonderfull camper place, stabilised so possible with wet weather. Very quiete, ping pong table and skatepark nearby, boules on site. But i had to leave 1 star out as after 4 nights and spending 53.60 euro, doing my shopping in town, eating out etc, it was not posible to dispose of my wrappings of the shopping. The garbage depot is on the other side of the locked fence only open for paper and glass. I saw people struggle, walk all around and in the end give up and leave their garbage next to the locked general garbage bin. Who locks up garbage binns? Realy? Also no wifi, again, thats so Dissapointing. Even parked close to the entrance for the wifi.
We stayed overnight in Lizio. The camping area is clean, level, with good facilities. The village is lovely. The Boulangerie is open daily. People where friendly.Had a slight problem getting the barrier to open. The lcd display was blank. Resolved quickly by phone.
Lovely tidy site with grass pitches. A bit muddy as we had rain but no problem with the pitch. Toilets clean and hot water. Borne easy. Close to the lovely village and restaurants, 10 min walk. Would definitely recommend and it will be one we will use often.
