Camping car park is a really good app and gives a great sense of security . You can view ahead availability and even book your spot . Mostly all of the sites are well located and well equipped

A good stopover

A good stopover. Access very easy. All services working. Some hard standings, however some motorhomes were selfish and parked lengthways where 3 or 4 motorhomes could park, maybe markings or raised sections would stop selfishness. The grass areas very wet so we avoided. Easy 5 mile cycle into Verdun along the voie verte, beside the canal

Beautiful overnight stay

Beautiful overnight stay, site was lovely and clean and the views were fantastic. A lot of pitches with electric, water, chemical toilet and waste water disposal on the way out. Will definitely use again and highly recommend.

The site was very good with fairly level pitches. However when using the service point my barrier code allocated to me or my Pass Etapes card were not accepted so unable to fill with fresh water or rinse the cassette.

The site is great value for money and…

The site is great value for money and in a good location for getting a train to Bordeau(about 22 euro return pp).The facilities are old and past their best but for those who need toilet and a hot shower they are a bonus. We saw the cleaner in each morning doing a good job.We had the bonus of electric hook up and free WiFi. The pitches were a bit uneven and muddy due to the rain but at less than 15euro pn it's a bargain stopover

I wish this scheme ran in every country! …

We find this scheme great when we are in France, especially out of season when a lot of campsites are closed. Everything has been well organised on the sites we have stayed on and we have felt safe and comfortable. The booking and staying system is easy once you get used to it. I have nothing bad to say at all.

Have used these for many years

Have used these for many years, usually with great success. The formula works, as can be testified by its continuous growth. However, this is leading to popular sites being full quite often and price rises well above inflation.
