Customer services

Initial contact with customer service was woeful. They did not do what they promised to do it wasn't till I complained and asked to speak to a manager that I got some satisfaction. Mark Foster from retirement servicing contacted me and took ownership of the issue. I believe he went above and beyond to resolve the issue.It is a same that your Initial customer service team did not perform as well as Mark.

I phoned and emailed for help but the reply was to contact an independent advisor. When I contacted previous adviser, no one returned my call. I really am not wise in technical ins/outs of insurance business.

Very worrying wait of almost two weeks between money leaving other provider and any communication from Canada Life - really should be improved!Unforgivable delay, need to look at their internal process and compliance with requirements of customers and not just their compliance with their FCA requirements!
