Doesn’t even deserve the 1 star. Always disappointing…I have placed numerous recent orders that use Canada post, and EACH time it’s the exact same scenario. Recent example- Ordered feb. 2, now it’s been sitting in Mississauga for well over a week (since feb. 6). Since that day, all that the tracking says is “item delayed”. That’s it. Nothing else. Chat AI is useless, & I’ve been through this SO many times I have lost count…
When I see a business uses them, I am no longer bothering. Not worth the headache. I have yet to have a SINGLE item delivered on time as promised (or even close to that date).
Wonder why they are going bankrupt? Hmmm…
Amazon, UPS, fed-ex, all seem to be able to deliver promptly as promised. What is wrong with this incompetent “delivery” service? (If you can call them that)

Delivery Issues and Lack of Communication

On December 30 around 10:45 AM, I was sitting just 20 feet from my front door when I saw online that my package was out for delivery. I heard my mailbox lid close, so I checked a few minutes later and found a delivery notice. There was no knock or doorbell ring, and I verified that the doorbell was working. Neighbors have reported similar experiences. I suspect we have a courier who is avoiding getting signatures. Since I don't drive, I arranged a ride to the postal outlet to collect my package, arriving after 1 PM as instructed, but it was no longer in the system. I filed another complaint and received a call from the supervisor, yet I still haven't received a resolution. I was informed that my package missed the shuttle, and I'm uncertain if it will make it on the next one. I arranged another ride on January 2, but upon arrival after 1 PM, the package was still unavailable. After a final attempt, the package was finally ready at 3:40 PM. I truly believe this courier needs to be addressed, as this is not an isolated case.

Lack of Mail Delivery

I haven't received any mail in over two weeks. Who will cover the interest on my overdue bills? I ordered something from an online retailer and it was delivered the next day by a private company. The postal service should consider using private companies for deliveries; it could save them a significant amount of money.

I would like to sincerely commend the representative at the local post office for her outstanding service. While my experience with the postal service overall has often been frustrating, she was a breath of fresh air. Incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and genuinely kind, she took the time to understand my post box issue, worked through the details with care, and resolved a problem that no one else had been able to figure out. She made what could have been a stressful situation feel effortless. Her professionalism, warmth, and dedication to helping customers are truly exceptional. Lack of Customer Care from the Service

The service shows little regard for its customers, focusing solely on profits. After placing an order for a parcel that was promised to arrive in 2 days, it has now been 15 days with only a delay notification. I will not be using this shipping option again. With so many negative reviews, it seems the service needs to reassess its priorities.

The most frustrating delivery experience I've ever had.

This has been the most frustrating delivery experience I've ever encountered. Each time I've used this service, packages have arrived damaged or taken weeks to reach me. I often receive mail intended for previous residents of my address. My latest package, unfortunately shipped by this service, was supposed to arrive by December 3rd. There was no delivery attempt, and tracking down my package resulted in different unhelpful responses from every representative I spoke to. Eventually, I saw an 'Out for Delivery' status, but just 20 minutes later, it was canceled and rescheduled for December 5th, again with no delivery attempt. When I called and requested to speak with a supervisor, I was promised a call back, but nothing happened. There was a complete lack of communication or updates. I was later informed that my package might be lost or returned for some unclear reason. Now, the next delivery attempt is scheduled for Tuesday, December 9th. Why isn't it happening the next business day, which is Monday? Is there really such a lack of effort? This service frequently delays mail, causing significant backlog and frustration. It's unacceptable, and there needs to be serious changes. This experience has been a complete waste of time and resources. Anyone associated with this service should feel embarrassed. -12/10 for any interaction with them.

1) Obtain a PO Box at a postal office. I pay just $16 a month for mine, ensuring that all my parcels, regardless of size, are safely delivered to me. I can even collect them later if needed—sometimes a week or two after arrival.
2) If you experience ongoing issues, consider filing a complaint with the Ombudsman office, which is accessible online and available in many regions.
