Wrong commitment fake promise no Customer centricity I am writing to bring to your notice that my stud was given at your CaratLane store for repair more than in December month ago. However, till date, I have not received the repaired item back.
Despite following up multiple times, there has been no clear update or resolution provided. This delay is quite concerning and inconvenient.
Made a mistake to give the stud to them they are not trustworthy at all.
Good experience with caratlane today. Staff are polite and respectful. I was guided by Thrisha from Vanasthalipuram branch. She has explained me the benefits of scheme plans in a good way. Looking forward to have great journey with caratlane. We trust TATA products so expecting the best value to our investment there.
Caratlane himayathnagar hyderabad- Pathetic store. Reckless staff. Mr abubakar certainly showed us Good designs and I purchased a bracelet on 17dec 2025. Sent for repair. Firstly recklessly it was sent late on 23 dec 2025. Then it was supposed to be delivered in 15 business working days. But I have still not received my bracelet. Numerous calls made to the store. Manager is never available - he is always out for lunch or week off or just can't attend calls. As he is only one who can get idea about bracelet but certainly doesn't want to do his job. They have no idea about the bracelet now. Standard answer- we have no idea! We can't do anything! I guess my money is gone. What should I call this!?? Theft??
I am writing again regarding my unresolved query, and I must express my disappointment at the lack of clear communication despite multiple follow-ups over the past several days.To clearly outline the issue:I had two products exchanged, for which the total amount credited was ₹2,56,242.After cancelling the products, I have received only ₹1,15,627 back.There is a significant balance of approximately ₹1,50,000, for which I have received no explanation so far.I had repeatedly requested clarity on two very specific points:The exact amount I would receive if I opt for an exchange, andThe final amount that would be credited back to my account in case of cancellation/refund.Unfortunately, despite asking for this information over the last 7 days, I have not received a clear written response. This lack of transparency is both surprising and disappointing.It is entirely my right to decide whether I wish to continue with a product or cancel it, and it is equally my right to be clearly informed about the financial implications of either choice. I find it disheartening that I am having to repeatedly ask for basic clarification regarding my own money.At this point, I request an immediate, written clarification clearly mentioning:A detailed breakup of the exchanged amount,The reason for the difference in the refunded amount, andThe exact balance currently held against my account and how it will be settled.I will be attaching relevant screenshots for your reference.I also request that someone from your team arrange a callback at the earliest to resolve this matter conclusively.Given the experience so far, I regret to say that this will likely be my last purchase with CaratLane unless this issue is resolved promptly and transparently.Looking forward to an immediate resolution.Regards,Dr. Shally Mattoo Jalali
This review is for Shaya by CaratLane. I had placed order for a pair of silver earrings and bracelet and Shaya immediately called me that they mailed me the incorrect bracelet and will send the correct item within 24 hrs and it’s been close to 2 weeks no attempt to deliver the correct item nor is there an attempt to pick up the incorrect item sent. Silver jewelry isn’t cheap so sending a wrong item shows lack of professionalism and then not following through with sending the correct item adds to their lack of professional ethics. I’ve also asked to cancel and refund, but nothing so far. Only false hopes of wait 24-48 hrs. I don’t live in India and don’t have that long so I’ve asked them for refund. Worst customer service. Do not buy silver jewelry from them. Their gold jewelry is alright but shop small business for silver jewelry. Smaller businesses have much better business etiquettes. Shame on you Shaya for such horrible services and lack of respect for customers valuable time and money.
I went to caratlane RR nagar branch Bangalore for exchange of earrings purchased in the year 2015, on 15/01/2026,they told that it will take a week,its now 22 days i am still waiting for valuation for buying a new set.i have visited the shop five times... every time they cite a software issue....
I am compelled to bring this issue to public attention due to the lack of a fair and transparent resolution.I purchased gold and diamond jewellery from CaratLane, based on clear assurances provided at the time of purchase regarding exchange at prevailing market prices. However, when I recently approached them for an exchange, I was informed that the value offered is significantly lower than the current gold and diamond prices, contradicting the assurances and expectations set earlier.Despite raising the concern through official customer support channels, the response received has been unsatisfactory and lacks accountability. No transparency and so many hidden loopholes at the time of exchange or buyback...This company has no hesitation either in taking back the offer items they give during offer times at the time of buyback or exchange. This experience i faced at the issue of buyback I have chosen. They deducted 10 % just because they gave gold coin of half gram at the time of festive season.
