Review Time
Unfortunately, customer service isn't very helpful. My order is sitting in a package locker somewhere, but I have no information on it. Draper James said it's delivered so they can't help any further. I have had good luck with orders, so it's really sad to know the first time I needed assistance they refused to help. No more Draper James for me. I guess at some point someone will open that random locker and get a free coat.
Visited the store in Nashville and purchased various items including a Dolly bracelet. After wearing the bracelet for less than a week it was showing major signs of wear. I contacted customer service and was told they’d received no other complaints and they offered a discount on a future purchase. Why would I give them more money when an item I purchased lasted less than a week and they wouldn’t replace it? Further attempts to contact them were just ignored. Very disappointed in this company, I expected better!
Ordered a trench coat online labeled “light latte” with an almost white/beige colored coat in the picture. I was sent a totally different color, labeled “brown” and was actually a bright lavender coat - no exaggeration. Was told that they occasionally change the color names and sorry for my confusion. Their “happy shipping” locations are over 30 miles from my house, so not easy to return. I asked customer service to work with me. No such luck. Now I have a purple coat I don’t want and I am out $100. They advertise anything they want and send you whatever they have available, hoping customers will just keep it since it’s a pain to return it. Customer service told me the color I ordered was never in existence, even after I showed them my order receipt and website screenshots. Never again.
Horrible customer service. I wish I read more reviews about Draper James. Beware their shoe do not run true to size. I ordered a pair of flats in the size (7) I wear in all brands, and I couldn’t even get my foot into the shoe. These unfortunately were final sale and customer service would not budge, or even offer any help to get another size ordered. I will not be shopping there anymore. Buyers beware!!!!
Horrible customer service. Ordered a dress that was final sale. This was my first time ordering and since it was just a size issue, I was hoping they could swap it. Nope. They responded to my email in a very condescending way and never responded to my next email. Terrible customer service. I’m now stuck with a $100 dress that doesn’t fit… I would understand if it was a cheap dress that wasn’t worth the shipping/ labor. I could’ve even paid for the shipping, but they were so unwilling to budge. I will not be ordering from this company again.
I returned an item through happy returns within the correct window unworn etc and had the return acknowledged through email- almost 2 months later no refund and have reached out to customer service 4 times to no response.
I have read the other reviews and have experienced the same issues. Ordered 3 dresses. 2 came in. 2 weeks later after not hearing a word about the 3rd dress, I emailed. I was told to wait 2 days for a response. I waited a week and still no response. I contacted DJ again. This time I was told that they were out of the item. I waited over a month to be told that it was no longer in stock?! This company will not get my business again. They are difficult to work with and appear to use shady business practices. Save yourself some heartache and go elsewhere…plus, it’ll probably be less expensive!
