Review Time
I received a marketing email on the Friday before Mother’s Day stating that if I bought from them before 3pm it would be delivered by Mother’s Day. I did so, it was Wednesday, 3 days late, that the plant arrived. This meant that I did have anything for my mother on Mother’s Day. I emailed Carbeth the day before mother’s day to ask as the tracking said it had not been dispatched. I received no reply until the day of delivery stating they had stocking issues for the plant. They promised to deliver the plant, advertised it as available and then failed to do so. They have offered no refund and the only response has been ‘stocking issues’ they have not replied to my latest email within the 48 hour response time they promise either. They are just ignoring me. Bizarrely they sent out another of the same plant to my address, I have no use for it and now I have to work out how to return it or dispose of it. Very poor customer service, untrue advertising, all in all very disappointing.
