Review Time
Primroses arrived in very poor condition, with lots of mouldy flowers. I tidied the plants up, and there were very few flowers left - couldn't see any buds. And the blue primroses I ordered are more like a faded purple. I complained to Carbeth, who say "I’m sorry to hear you’re disappointed with the primroses.At this time of year, primroses are nearing the end of their flowering season, so it is quite normal for the flowers to appear tired or begin to go over. From what you’ve described, it sounds like the blooms are simply spent rather than mouldy, which can unfortunately affect their appearance.The plants themselves should still be healthy, and with a tidy up (removing the spent flowers), they will continue to grow and can flower again in future seasons."Very disappointed, and I'm unlikely to use them again.
The lithops I received no way represent the size (age) or quantity per pot as advertised for sale. I have emailed my concerns backed up with photographic evidence to Carbeth Plants but I have failed to receive a response.UPDATE Carbeth Plants have got intouch with me with an option to replace or refund. I have opted for replacement as I really want these. I’ll update on the replacements once received but feel the score out of 5 needs to be changed to reflect their actions , albeit a but slow from 2 to 4stars
Very poor quality of plants -all arrived non labelled and the raspberry was not thornless as it was supposed to be two of the plants looked as though they were dead/half dead and from a demic pile E nailed to ask for replacements and not even got an acknowledgement/reply -buyer beware….
I can.always rely on your beautiful plants. They were carefully packed.As I opened the boxes I could smellThe lovely.scent.of curry plant, lavender and rosemary. Well done.The planted flowers looked lovely the next morning, with rain to help.them grow
Fast delivery ( though unfortunately the usual suspects who ignored the arrows on the box or dont know which way is up left the package on its side on my doorstep) luckily I was at home so it wasn't like that for long. 1 small piece had broken off one plant though but I blame the courier for that The plugs/plants themselves . Well worth the price . I will definitely buy again from carbeth plants.
