I used their resume services, which did not at all meet the standards that career.io advertised. After filling out the form, they took the draft I sent them and sent it back to me in worse shape — terrible typos, nonsense phrases, and choppy formatting. It absolutely was not an “expert” in my field. I’m applying for English-speaking jobs, and the work did not seem to be done by someone fluent in English. I lost hundreds of dollars to this company and have absolutely nothing to show for it.I tried to work with their customer support for a resolution. They were slow and sometimes non-responsive. It was impossible to get a clear answer. Eventually they told me I could buy another resume package from them at a “discount.” It doesn’t make sense for me to pay them another $200+ to hope that the quality would somehow become acceptable the second time around. Their recommended payment method was Affirm, which I had never used before but unfortunately did for this transaction. Encouraging people to use Affirm instead of traditional credit card companies appears to be part of the scam. Where your credit card company could help you, Affirm will help make sure career.io keeps your funds.

Supposed Issues with payment provider have resulted in me paying twice for a 6 month subscription and still not having access to premium features. Have send several emails already, without any response.Edit 1: Charges were from you and I have prints to provide proof, you're quick to respond here, but still no reply to my 3 emails...Edit 2: Days later still no reply from you and still no access. You're just scammers.
I signed up for free trial on jobleads. But ended up being charged 2 dollars for the first week then 90 dollars for a premium membership. Absolute bs. But no mention of careers.io. at the start. Only jobleads. Who are also connected to topcv and they keep blaming each other and passing the buck. It was 200 dollars for a resume too which I could've written myself. Worst experience ever. Now I'm worried my credit card details are being shared with other career sites

I have purchased 7 day CV builder and ended up as all people who are complaining about the service. They have charged, 24.95 usd for service i have not asked for or subscribed for. They are telling that while subscribing to 7 day trial you have receoved an email and it was written that you will be charged automatically. But in email i have received it is only written Welcome to Career.io and nothing related to subscription as well nothing was written during purchase. I kindly asked to refund the money but instead of helping people and their customers they are just stealing money of people.According to Consumer law need to contact ARN board for consumer rights and escalate and write complaint, after that possible to get lawyer and proceed which i will do.
