It’s a shame I can’t attach a video to my review as I took a video of my iPhone 11 just before I put it in the package to send off to We Buy Tek for recycling.
I was offered maybe £50 initially for the phone, then had a email saying they had found some faults (screen discolouration and white spots) and would be offering less than that. I’ve just rewatched the video I took of me scrolling through some functions on the phone and the device is yes, older than most, but the screen is perfect.
Total waste of time, to be honest. If the phone isn’t returned in the condition I sent it in, I will follow this up appropriately. Disappointing and would not recommend.

I did a quote comparison site and these guys came out on top. I stated my phone was ‘damaged’ as it’d had a non genuine screen fitted. They still tried to offer me less than half of what they had originally quoted, and gave me the option to have the phone returned, which I selected. Then they were able to increase the offer another two times! Still not meeting the minimum threshold I asked for, I asked for the phone to be returned. Having just received it back they damaged its original box by ripping it on both sides. So frustrating as I believe it’s packaging reflects its quality and how looked after something is when it comes to selling it second hand.
10/10, this company offered me the most money for my old phone on a comparison site, they sent me a pack in the post and a prepaid label to send it away. Money in the bank in a few days! Literally the day after they received it. And the FULL amount too. I was sure the quote would be knocked down as I didn’t have the original box etc but no they paid the amount they initially quoted. Will definitely use their services again. Thanks so much!
