My doctor prescribed medication through a platform on Friday, December 19th. I paid that evening, and it was marked as dispatched the next day. However, it remained in that status for three more days, leading me to contact them on Tuesday the 23rd. After several unanswered calls, I wrote to them and received this reply: "We are currently awaiting further communication from your doctor as the prescribed medication is out of stock with no return date from our supplier. An alternative will be prescribed, or we will cancel and refund your order." I emailed my doctor, only to get an auto-reply indicating she is on leave, which means I have to wait for an alternative for two weeks! The issue isn't the holidays or the doctor. The system should have indicated to the doctor that the medication was unavailable. It should never have been marked as "dispatched," and I should have been informed right away so I could contact the doctor immediately! There is a failure at multiple levels!
