If I could write a zero star I would! This is a very deceptive company and shady business practices. You buy a shirt for $10 before you know it you are being charged $49 a month!!! Sure you “approve” the charge because of the purchase but they are deceptive in the membership. It is not as obvious as they claim or so many people would not be scammed into the membership. They may have a good product I don’t know, but they are complete scammers in the way they do business. They say they are upfront about it and you approve it, obviously not!
Unfortunately after not paying close attention to my bank statement (my bad), I noticed a $49 charge on my credit card from Cole's Classroom. After calling my bank, I found out that my card has been charged $49 since March of this year. I couldn't believe it!!!! I NEVER signed up for any trial program from these people and if I did, I would have definitely canceled before the end date. I just sent them an email and am anxious to see their response. They can go back and see that I have NEVER gone into any trial site. I did purchase a 10.00 t-shirt from them earlier in the year but that was it. I guess that is how they got my credit card number. I just CAN'T believe they would do something like that. I will write a follow up after I hear back from them. JUST BEWARE of giving your credit card number to people who might take advantage of it.
I am having the same horrible experience as everyone else on here that registered for the 10 day free trail for $1 and now I don't have access to the subscription button to cancel. This is very frustrating!!! From wanting to try out this photography course and possibly continuing if I enjoyed it to getting frustrated for no reason and WASTING MY TIME! I think they do this purposely to get you interested for a $1 and try to take your money if you don't notice that there is not subscription button in time.
I fell upon Cole's Classroom quite by accident but gave the 10 day trial a go. I thought I would get all the information I would need and then cancel after the 10 days. Boy was I wrong, there are so many informative and valuable tutorials and teaching tools that I could not possibly view them all in 10 days. I was hooked. I am so grateful for the help from the other members and the Moderators! I have learned so much in the past 2 1/2 months! I love having the support and advice right at my fingertips! Thank you Cole's Classroom team!
I am trying to cancel my membership in my account and I don’t even see the “subscription” button that lets me cancel the membership. So I emailed you guys already and I hope you get back to me. If I see any money taken out on my account and I am not even able to cancel my subscription, I will make sure to take legal actions. You can’t just remove the “subscription” button where people go to cancel memberships and unable them to cancel the subscription and then take their money.
KEEP AWAY. I signed up for the $1 trial and in the confirmation mail I found that this trial is just for 10 days and following to that, $49.00 will be charged. It read as follows:Please remember that you've just started a 10 day trial today and on day 11 you will automatically be auto-renewed to a full price monthly member at $49/mo if you do not cancel your trial expires.Immediately, I logged into the site and canceled my trial. But there is no confirmation or any other kind of confirmation message for the same. I felt I have canceled my account and accidently when I checked my Credit card transactions, it is found that few days before I was charged for $49.00 I searched for "Contact Us" and found there is no such direct , visible, immediate link for contacting them or any customer care phone number. Somehow I managed to find a contact us (only by email) and sent a mail describing these. But did not receive any reply from their side. Desperately, I searched online about this site and cancelling subscription/courses found some description about $1 trial course and the way to cancel it. But I found that that also will not work for me as I could find any menu such "Subscription" in "My Account Page"I feel they made their web site NOT USER FRIEDNLY with an intention of somehow get some money from customer.From my personal experience, please DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS COMPANY. I feel they their business strategy is trick the people by attracting them with a $1 offer and pickpocketing them.Still I am not sure about my account is canceled or will they charge $49.00 next month also as they mentioned it is a recurring charge.Totally frustrated. Please keep away from this site.
