I had to change my flight dates due to hospitalization and now can’t fly as scheduled. I wanted to either transfer my insurance or cancel and rebook, but they refused to refund my money. Odd policy; you may have gained a small amount of money today, but you've lost future business from me. I strongly advise others to avoid this company. They did offer the chance to email and plead for my money, but I’ll just take the loss.
Last year, I purchased annual travel insurance from a provider through their website, not realizing they subcontracted to another company. I had to cancel a flight due to my mother's passing, and while they initially assured me I was covered, after weeks of communication, they refused to pay compensation. Their demands for unattainable paperwork are inhumane. I urge anyone considering travel insurance to avoid this company. Their practices are unreasonable. Update: Despite their seemingly sympathetic responses, they continue to deny compensation.
Excellent experience, my claim had some complications in that not everything I was claiming was in my name. The process was simple and the communications were always satisfactory with very pleasant customer service agents /I absolutely recommend 100%
Claim was paid in full with minimal amount of fuss and time during our bereavement, which we really appreciated. Staff were helpful and efficient. All documents had to be converted to pdf format, no screen shots or word docs accepted, which took extra time to sort out with cruise company. I definitely recommend Saga insurance and I will be using them in future and also booking a Saga cruise as I felt looked after and could trust them.thank you.
We had to cancel our holiday when my wife was diagnosed with cancer. This company just kept saying never received it email after email ..Copied 3 people into a email...Who do you think never received it??? 7 months later after so much hassle they paid a quarter of the total cost...please don't waste your money and time
