My young son became ill with gastroenteritis the day before our trip, and the doctor confirmed he was too ill to travel. After waiting five weeks, my claim was declined because they said it was rotavirus, which is wrong. The doctor clearly diagnosed gastroenteritis and confirmed the illness began after the policy started. I’ve appealed with full medical evidence and hope this is reviewed and resolved fairly soon.
I claimed for missed port cover on a recent cruise. I emailed and was then phoned. The process was straightforward. There lady I spoke with was helpful, friendly and patient. There was no issue with the claim and the money was in my bank account by the same evening. Brilliant service.
Went on a trip insured by post office underwritten by collinson Bag run over by ryanair, photos, video, PIR form, everything.But unless I have a receipt for the bag or bank transaction they won't pay a penny. I'm sure legally they have worded their policy to allow this but this feels entirely unethical, cowboy behaviour.I am complaining to the financial ombudsmen as soon as complaint period is finished but I would avoid this company like the plague. To be clear they have refusedTO EVERYONE 1. Ask for a digital subject access report to get all data on you2. Submit to the Financial ombedsman3. I will update with both the above on here4. Have reviewed terms with ligitation partner brother and they are vague and very likely not to hold up.
Avoid at all costs.They kept us waiting for months, asking for document after document, only to reject our claim in the end.We had to cancel our trip and fly home early because my spouse became seriously ill. We even provided a doctor’s note clearly stating we needed to return home immediately, yet they still refused to cover a single expense.They hide behind fine print and technicalities to avoid paying legitimate claims. It’s shocking how easily they get away with it.We paid for peace of mind — but when we truly needed help, they gave us nothing but stress, false hope, and endless bureaucracy.Don’t be fooled by their cheap prices. You’re not really insured with them.They are heartless, unhelpful, and dishonest.Save yourself the pain — go with literally any other insurer. They are a complete scam in disguise.
One star as I can’t put none. This company was put on earth to torture me. Underwriting for VHI MULTI TRIPS. I used their Portal on a weekend it “was overloaded”. Now inching through claims due to illness and flights we couldn’t take. They have completely different values to VHI MULTI TRIPS who I will never use again unless they get a less aggressive Underwriter. So stressful!
Alysha and IAU helped sorting out my claim ,when Collisions said my annual policy wasn't active.Insure with whom I booked it with confirmed it was activeIt took a week to sort it out ,Both Alysha and IAU contcated me to confirmit was active and they could Vslidate my claim..
