Repeatedly asking the same question…

Repeatedly asking the same question when you have they have the information,not giving a full list of information they need, customer portal doesn't work,not dealing with the same agent on every call would help.It makes you feel as if they are trying not to pay out on your claim

Probably the worst company I’ve ever had the displeasure to be involved in. I supplied all the necessary information for the claim to be processed. However the speed and lack of service was extremely disappointing.

I really wish I read these reviews before undertaking insurance with Post Office, underwritten by Collinsons group. I am in awe that a simple damaged suitcase claim is taking weeks to settle. As per previous reviews you are pass between multiple claim handlers who don't seen to communicate with each other so you end up chasing your tail and repeating yourself as you are passed from pillar to post. My policy stated up to £250 for damaged luggage but Collinsons are doing all they can to not pay my small claim.5 years ago, I claimed with a different insurance company as fell ill on holiday. Claim was settled in a week. Appauled at this service. I've copied in the executive board to my most recent response. Hopefully, I will have someone take me seriously. Irony is my renewal is up in 2 weeks.Collinsons Group - Please do not respond to this review with a scripted automated answer. Settle my small claim.***UPDATE*** They have now contacted meAnd want to offer me £25 for my damaged Samsonite suitcase. Appalling. Avoid this company like the plague .

Not a Good experience

Only paid up when I went to ombudsman and the simllar claim by under 65 people in the party had their claim settled with same details. Otherwise I feel I still be waiting 3 months on of course now saga and their claims management company are contacting me when they see the truth on a review and how bad it looks I expect they will try to get the review taken down ..crooks

Claim for return flight cancellation.

Claim for return flight cancellation.I had to make a claim with Post Office Travel Insurance due to a return flight cancellation, and the experience was excellent. The process was straightforward, and I didn’t have to repeat any information. The staff were fluent, polite, and helpful, and my claim was processed and paid out within a week. No hassle at all – really impressed with the service. Highly recommend!

Misleading Sales Policy

Purchased suggested travel insurance through EasyJet. Even though I live in the US, which they have my address, and could easily see that I'm purchasing from outside of the EU. This meant that when my flight was cancelled my insurance contract actually was not valid. I'm sure there are a lot of people that purchase insurance and never have to worry about it, but Collinson is taking their money when they have no legal obligation to pay. Obviously it is important to read the fine print, but the insurance should never have been offered let alone pushed on a consumer.
