Unreliable service with hidden costs

This service is unreliable. They require a $500 deposit to access their so-called "better pricing," in addition to a monthly fee. Each time I've tried to use it, I've realized that I would have saved more by opting for a rideshare. Their pricing is outrageous, and they refuse to let me cancel my subscription for a year.

Service is a scam

This service is a scam. They demand a $500 deposit to access "better pricing," coupled with a monthly fee. Each time I've tried to use it, I've ended up spending less with a rideshare option. Their pricing is outrageous, and they won't let me cancel my subscription for a year.

Overly commercialized and untrustworthy

I feel this service expanded too quickly across regions by scamming subscribers. They force a yearly membership fee even if you only need occasional rentals. What seemed like a budget option is actually worse than traditional rental services. You end up paying $420 a year (about $35 monthly after fees) for just a few rentals, which is excessive. They keep your credit card info and lock you into a year-long subscription without proper notice, making it clear that they operate in a sketchy manner.

Poorly designed car rental service

This service has a poorly designed setup for car rentals. It's not user-friendly, and there are many hidden fees along with unexpected bugs in their systems. The app is problematic, and they can issue fines for rentals from months ago.

Mixed experience with the service

I used this car-sharing service in the city. They attempted to charge me an extra CAD150 for pre-existing bumper damage noted at pickup. After some discussion, they dropped the charge, confirming my point. However, I may avoid using this service again, as I wasted time dealing with that issue. Otherwise, the service was satisfactory, and the car was in good shape. If they refrain from charging for existing damage, the price is quite reasonable.

Similar frustrating experience

I experienced a situation similar to another reviewer. As a long-term, good-standing customer, my account was suspended without warning, causing significant inconvenience as it was my main transportation. They claimed I caused minor damage months prior and asserted it was me because I had booked the car around that time. When I inquired why I wasn't contacted before the suspension, they claimed to have emailed me, but it was to a no-reply address! It's absurd. Additionally, I faced issues with credit cards not working for gas, forcing me to use my own, and I encountered resistance when seeking reimbursement.

Zero stars would be more appropriate

I wish I could give them zero stars. Do not use this service. We've been loyal customers for years, but the last 24 hours have been a nightmare. After being in a multi-vehicle accident where we were not at fault, they are trying to charge us for towing, impound, and storage fees amounting to thousands. The customer service is the worst. I've reported them to the Better Business Bureau. Avoid at all costs.

Issues with gas payment

I rented a car for three days, but the credit card worked only once. I suspect they do this to make customers pay for gas, with some forgetting to get receipts and missing refunds. I had to complain twice for my refund, which they said would take 7 to 10 business days, yet it took almost three weeks after I followed up on my receipt. I wouldn’t recommend this service. They lie, and customers end up paying for gas. The cars are often dirty and left with personal items from previous users. I now prefer public transport and rideshares, which are cheaper.
