Consumer Legal Group is super responsive with my phone calls and questions. While I have not seen results yet, I trust that they are doing their best on my behalf to help remove my large credit card debt. They have continued to explain my status with creditors well and have a large team of people to communicate with clients.
I was transferred/bought by CLG from the LPG in California after being with them for approximately 4 months. The transition was seamless and although the LPG were professional and thorough, the closeness and EST have made it much better with communicating. Right from the start the support people have been constantly communicating and the couple of questions I posed have had quick and thorough answers back to me. The only flaw I have experienced, and not from any of the company employees, is the function of the portal. At LPG, I was able, and did constantly, download any communication or other pertinent items associated with my account--i.e.--communication from a debtor. I am very happy with CLG and hope to have things resolved soon as we go through the various stages of the program.
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! They do not know what they are doing. They take your money and that's it. There is supposed to be a representative for court, but they don't show up and you get a default judgment against you. The communication with the clerks is horrible. You leave messages and no one returns your call. I even spoke to one of the main attorneys, who was in Paris at the time and he said he would get his Team on my case. Yeah, I got a clerk who knew nothing. There was months where nothing was done on my account. No documents sent out, no phone calls with any updates, nothing. In fact, the clerk drafted a letter and put it as if I was sending it out. Not on letterhead from CLG, or an attorney's name. Just plain paper from me, written poorly. Wanted me to sign it and send it out to a Judge. You don't write to the Judge personally. Who does that?
There is no freaking way. This company is a 4.7 stars. They must be from the employees. this place sucks. I do not ever recommend ever ever using this company. They've lied to me and told me in the beginning that I'm gonna have to pay the full amount of the 4 years of the money that I've been paying for ra year if I try to cancel. Then when you do finally get the cancel this. You will not get your money back at you. Pay them because you get follow the cancelation orders. Which I never gotta piece of paper. I never signed nothin nothing. It's garbage run or just pay your debts. Don't even deal with these morons.
I was getting behind with my payments and couldn’t keep up. I received ba call from CGL and they talked me through everything. Now I have such a relief knowing I’ll be ok thanks to these wonderful people. I’m so glad I found them. They have been so helpful and have answered me everytime I have emailed them about any problems or issues I was having. I would definitely recommend this company to anyone in hardship! Thank you CGL for giving me my life back.
